Lucky. Our modern 2021 camper, based in Queenstown, is functional, fresh and well equipped for your once in a lifetime South Island road trip. The van is ready to rock with: -Comfy double bed with linen and warm blankets for those colder nights -Available 3rd camp mattress -Separate seating area with cushions and table. -Apple carplay, reverse camera & cruise control 2x usb charging points in cab -Double stove tops for cooking -Leisure battery and 200W solar, meaning access to 4xUSB charging points in the rear and a good sized fridge plus lights that can used without worrying about running out of power. -Self Contained with fixed portable toilet -Huge under bed storage for surfboards, bikes or whatever outdoor equipment you have, -Cutlery, tableware, pots, pans, tea, coffee and seasoning -Outdoor table and chairs -Airport pick-ups can be arranged or meeting around Frankton, Queenstown.

Hiring rules

  • No smoking in the van $500.00 fine.
  • Cook with the door open
  • No offroad driving / extended driving on gravel roads
  • As the van is diesel this makes fuel cheaper however road user charges will be charged at $0.09 per km travelled, in cash upon return of the van. This is standard for all diesel van hires.
  • Any damage must be reported immediately
  • Pull over immediately if any warning lights come on
  • Vehicle must be returned clean or you'll risk a cleaning fee
  • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We were extremely happy with the campervan its equipped with everything important and has everything you need. It handled all kinds of roads without any problems and has plenty of power! The owners were also amazing: they always replied very quickly and were super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. For our time in the south, we couldnt have imagined a better van and would book it again in a heartbeat!

    We spend a really great time with Lucky ! The van is self contained and well build for a trip ! Shannon and Luke though about everything you could need! We've been driving around and haven't any trouble with the engine or the van himself ! Fully recommended for van trip in the South
