PICK UP AND DROP OFF – The van lives in Sunshine Bay a short drive or bus ride from the Queenstown airport or town centre. - We are happy to organise alternate pick up locations on request, this can all be arranged when you request a booking. Please allow 45-60 minutes for the vehicle handover when you arrive. REMINDER - We kindly ask that you avoid cooking foods with strong odours, such as fish and curry, inside the campervan. This helps to keep the space fresh and pleasant for all our guests. We also ask that if there is a campfire around the van that you close all the windows and doors to ensure the van and your own items don’t end up smelling like smoke. If a deep clean is required after your hire a $150.00 will be charged. Road User Charges (RUC) – These are paid to the New Zealand government as diesel doesn’t include tax like petrol at the pump. RUC go towards the maintenance of heavier vehicles such as this one on our roads. These are calculated per kilometre (for this vehicle it costs $0.09/Km ) these will be added up at the end of your hire and will be charged through Camplify. Long Trips – 200km of travelling per day. This distance be averaged out over the duration of hire. Example: for a 5-day hire you would have 1000km (5x 200 = 1000) This will be checked on the return of the van. Additional distance travelled will be charged at $0.50 per kilometre. Return the vehicle with a FULL - Fuel tank (DIESEL ONLY) - Gas bottle refilled, this can be done at petrol stations. Please provide receipts On return EMPTY at a dump station: - Grey water - Toilet (toilet also needs to be cleaned) - Dispose of all rubbish. - Take all your belongings with you If you have any questions about your trip or the van please don't hesitate to ask! Hiring rules

• EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 0800 779 779 they will advise on how to contact roadside assistance. Then call us!
• DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
• Strictly no SMOKING or VAPING in the vehicle
• No offroad driving / no ski field access roads / Skippers Canyon or beach driving/ No festivals or parties
• UNSEALED roads must be preapproved in writing in Camplify Messages before the trip begins. Please be familiar with the exclusions, terms and conditions of the booking.

• Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

  We spent four weeks in the Van Wilder camper to discover the entire South Island. Tom and Laura are a very kind couple who gave us the necessary instructions and trusted us from the very first second we received the keys. You can always contact them with a short question and they help whenever needed. The bus is fully equipped with everything you need and performed excellently, bringing us safely everywhere. Next time we are in New Zealand, I will definitely contact Tom and Laura again.

  We had an amazing time travelling around the South Island in Van Wilder. The van was well equipped with everything we needed for self sufficient camping in DOC campgrounds. Especially as the weather got cooler the van was spacious, had lovely hot showers, warm bedding, an easy kitchen to prepare meals indoors (plus a barbecue outside which we loved) and was comfortable to hang out in once the sun went down! Laura and Tom were lovely to deal with and were very communicative and flexible, meeting us at the airport and in town for handover as we had a lot of gear, making our lives so much easier! Would highly recommend Van Wilder for anyone wanting to travel around NZs South Island! Thank you Laura & Tom!

  Hiring this van made our holiday. Before collection Tom & Laura were really responsive to any messages and collection was easy and informative. The van itself is brilliant to drive and super comfortable for two adults. We hired the van in Autumn and the heater kept the place cosy. Wed definitely recommend hiring the van from Tom & Laura to anyone visiting the South Island.
