Our 2018 Elddis Xplore 554 is a modern, well-maintained retreat designed for those who value style and comfort on the road. As a four-berth caravan, it features a comfortable double bed alongside two small single beds that can easily be converted into a spacious queen-sized setup. The interior boasts a contemporary colour scheme and high-end finishes, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere that we personally enjoy and maintain to the highest standards. Designed for total independence, this fully self-contained unit is equipped with everything you need for a seamless getaway, including a comprehensive heating system to keep things cozy during cooler nights. For those looking to head off-grid, the caravan is powered by a high-capacity 120 Ah Lithium-ion battery, supported by a permanent solar panel and charging system, ensuring reliable power for several days. All essential gas functions are available for heating water for a shower or doing the dishes, heating the caravan, and powering the fridge. You will find the kitchen and living areas equipped with all the kitchen essentials required to make yourself at home. The caravan is a pleasure to tow, featuring a lightweight design that makes it manageable for a variety of vehicles while remaining stable on the road. For your entertainment, a built-in radio and a TV antenna are ready for use, allowing you to stay connected to the world while enjoying the peace of nature. Hiring rules

  • No Smoking: Smoking inside the caravan is strictly prohibited to maintain cleanliness and prevent odors.
  • OffRoad Use: The caravan is not to be taken offroad or on unsealed roads exceeding a certain distance (e.g., 7 km), unless explicitly agreed upon.
  • TOILET cassette MUST be returned empty following a comprehensive rinse and clean after every hire. Internal toilet and surrounding floor/wall MUST be thoroughly wiped with supplied sanitisation cleaning products. Time poor choose the CLEAN ME toilet inclusive option in EXTRAS and simply return the cassette empty.
  • Cleaning: The caravan must be returned in a clean condition. A cleaning fee may be applied if the caravan is not returned tidy.
  • Hirer to supply their own bed sheets and pillows.
  • EMERGENCY/DAMAGE if a road accident occurs get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 03 668 1211 option 4. If minor damage/breakage occurs please report IMMEDIATELY to owner so repair/replacement logisitics can be sorganised immediately.

  • Pet Policy Conditions and Restrictions:
  • All pet hair must be removed before returning the caravan.
  • Any accidents or messes caused by the pet must be cleaned up immediately by the hirer.
  • An additional cleaning fee may apply if excessive pet hair or odors are left behind.
  • Pets must not be left unattended in the caravan at any time.
  • Any damage caused by the pet (e.g., scratches, chewing, or stains) will be the responsibility of the hirer and may incur additional charges.
  • Hirers must notify the owner in advance if they intend to bring pets and provide details about the pet (e.g., breed, size, and age).
  • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Great caravan with all the features you need wither your plugged in or off grid. Easy to use and set up but it does have external waste water and fresh water tanks that need to be plugged in when setting up (slightly longer to set up than others that have them built in) Being single axle trailer it does have a bit if extra bounce in the car when towing. The heaters were amazing im the colder temps. Shower/toilet was roomy (even when 6ft and 7 months preggas lol). Had a small bit missing with a external pipe but fixed it ourselves and owner kindly reimbursed plus some on top. They were great at explaining everything when picking it up and flexible and very accomodating with our dates which helped us heaps and bonus you can bring your dog along too. Only wee nit picks was would have been helpful having some dishwashing liquid/tongs/salt and pepper. Otherwise it did have all of your other basics needed. Thanks for a lovely holiday. Would recommend for all

    Very tidy and comfortable caravan to hire. Contained all the essentials we needed, the awning is a must have and come with a great ground mat to keep everything dry. Evelyne and Riaans communication was amazing and the tour of the caravan before hiring was fantastic. We would hire the campervan again in a heartbeat. Thank you for sharing it and allowing us to make memories.
