Whether you're planning a beach escape, a road trip around New Zealand, a camping adventure, or need extra accommodation for visiting family and friends, Jones is a comfortable home away from home. With cowboy-inspired décor, warm string lights, and plenty of space to relax, Jones is the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. Hiring rules

  • No smoking inside the caravan. Smoking is strictly prohibited to help maintain cleanliness and prevent lingering odours.
  • The caravan must not be taken offroad or on unsealed roads exceeding the agreed distance (e.g. 7 km), unless prior approval has been obtained from the owner.
  • The toilet cassette MUST be returned empty and thoroughly rinsed. The toilet, shower, surrounding walls, and floor MUST be cleaned using the supplied cleaning products. Short on time? Select the "Clean the chemical toilet for me" option in EXTRAS and we'll take care of it for you.
  • The caravan must be returned in a clean and tidy condition. A cleaning fee may be charged if the caravan is not returned in an acceptable state. If you prefer not to clean the caravan yourself, simply select the "Clean the van for me (including toilet) option in EXTRAS.
  • Mattress protectors are provided. Hirers must supply their own bedding, including sheets, blankets/duvets, and pillows. Linen (fitted and flat sheets) can be supplied for an additional fee via the EXTRAS option.
  • In the event of an emergency or road accident, move to a safe location and contact Camplify on 03 668 1211 (Option 4). For any minor damage, breakages, or equipment issues, please notify the owner as soon as possible so repairs or replacements can be arranged promptly.
  • For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, we kindly ask that foods with strong cooking odours are not prepared inside the caravan. An optional outdoor 2 plate stove are available for your convenience, listed under optional extras as BBQ. Please note that we dont have an actual BBQ available.

  • Pet Policy Conditions and Restrictions:
  • Hirers must advise the owner in advance if they intend to bring pets and provide details such as breed, size, and age.
  • All pet hair must be removed before returning the caravan.
  • Any accidents or messes caused by pets must be cleaned up immediately by the hirer. An additional cleaning fee may apply if pet hair or pet odours remain after the hire period.
  • Pets must not be left unattended in the caravan at any time.
  • Any damage caused by pets (including scratches, chewing, or stains) is the responsibility of the hirer and may incur additional charges.
  • To help keep the caravan clean and comfortable for all guests, pets are not permitted on beds, sofas, or other furniture. Pets must sleep on their own bedding on the floor. Please bring suitable bedding and make appropriate arrangements for your pet's sleeping area.
  • The caravan is fitted with a house battery, which will be fully charged prior to collection. The battery will automatically recharge when connected to mains power at a campsite. It will not charge from the tow vehicle unless the vehicle is fitted with a compatible charging system. Under normal use, a fully charged battery will provide at least three days of power and can last longer if the fan is used sparingly.
  • The caravan holds a current Green Self Containment Certificate and is permitted to stay at self contained camping areas throughout New Zealand where allowed. We kindly ask all hirers to camp responsibly and help protect our beautiful environment. Please ensure that all wastewater, toilet waste, and rubbish are disposed of at approved facilities, and never dumped illegally.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
