The van is pretty self explanatory, everything is easy to find and ready to go, but we'll show you around and answer any questions you might have on pickup. The van is a very easy-to-drive automatic with an epic turning radius, so it's great to maneuver. It's a diesel, so the range is extremely good, but make sure you don't accidentally fill it up with petrol.

Hiring rules

• Driving on gravel is allowed, the van is ruggedlyengineered, but do be careful if you don't have much experience driving on this type of surface, as loss of traction can occur in the corners. It’s not a 4 wheel drive so taking it onto the beach will get you stuck.
• EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard or if you're unsure about something pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 0800 779 779
• DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
• Please smoke cigarettes/ joints outside the van vaping inside is all good.
• FUEL Return full of DIESEL All hires include a full tank upon departure. Cost to refuel will be at market rate plus $10.00 fee.
• GAS CANISTERS Gas cooker canisters can be bought at most gas stations and supermarkets. Please return with a full canister.
• CLEANING Clean the equipment and van before returning it. Excessive cleaning will incur a charge. You're welcome to use our cleaning supplies and vacuum at the end of your hire.
• LONG TRIPS Hirers are welcome to take the van up to 200 kilometres a day. This will be averaged out over the duration of hire. Example: 5 days hire 5 x 200km Allowance: 1000km for hire permitted in the rate, additional kms will be charged at $0.10/km and deducted on completion of the hire.
• ROAD USER CHARGES As this is a diesel vehicle we need to pay road user charges to the NZTA. RU Charge per km: $75.00/km. We will take a note of how many kilometers you drove and charge you per km at the end of your trip.

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.
