This was our first family campervan trip. We had 2 kids under 4 and our dog (maybe a bit too much for our first trip :)) Michael is great at communicating, very responsive. The campervan had everything we needed, even a treat for our dog :) Even if not the newest, it has absolutely everything you need. The ride in the back can get a little bumpy but our kids still slept great in their car seats. The AC even if loud was great for our youngest afternoon naps. We loved the trip and nosmw we want our own :)

Michael was great with the comms leading up to the booking. He and his wife were very accommodating and did a drop off and pick up at the local campsite for me. We appreciated the space and their care - offering to bring back linen if we needed more. Ka pai!

Mike and Marlene were extremely accomodating and great all round hosts, their van was super spacious and very easy to operate everything. Highly recommend hiring their van and we will definitely be back in future.

The owners of the van were very helpful and easy to communicate with. The van is very reliable, and the owners have provided lots of little touches to make it more user friendly. It is a little bumpy in the back if your passengers sit on the back seat facing forward, however, if they sit on the side seats instead it is fine. This was a great first time experience for us.

Just back from a five day booking. What a wonderful experience the whole process was. Excellent communication and instructions from Mike and Marlene - am a newbie and felt so supported and informed. I really appreciate all the work you have clearly put in to set this van up and to make us welcome. The van was excellent, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Thank you!

We were a family of 2 adults and three boys aged 12, 14 & 16 and we loved our trip away. Read previous review about the breaks but my husband found it absolutely fine to drive. Gas for the cooker lasts for ages and after 5 days of making tea, coffees and cooking breakfast only cost us $5 to fill the gas. Linen and bedding was clean and comfortable. Definitely a bumpy ride in the back but that was to be expected. We put our son with travel sickness in the passenger seat and he was fine. Owners were lovely to deal with and we would recommend this experience. Reversing is a little tricky to get used to without a camera but easy enough with a spotter as suggested. Having oil and salt and pepper was handy for cooking. A stunning region to explore. 5 nights was a great amount for our first time in a motorhome. Soft bags vs suitcases was great advice as you do need to shift things around for driving and when beds are made up. Definitely would recommend, Mike & Marlene were a pleasure to deal with.

This was our first time using a camper van, We weren't to sure what to expect other than what was on the listing. Overall we had a good experience however without wanting to sound to critical here some challenges we discovered,. This camper was listed as being able to sleep up to 6, We are a family of 4 with 2 teenage son's each needed their own sleeping space and the double bed was reserved for us parents which wasn't overly comfortable as we are both near 6ft tall. Also while AirConditioning is listed it pays to know that you need to be connected to main power in order for it to work. And as there are no fans supplied in the van we ended up buying a decent sized battery powered one, we also used it for the passengers in the back while driving as the vans aircon for the diver and front passenger didn't reach down the back of the van. Feedback from the family that sat in the back was that it's a hard ride sitting back there as any bumps in the road are amplified in the back so it pays to be well strapped in with a pillow or a cushion to sit on for extra comfort, If someone has a bad back I would recommend they sit up front. You will also need a competent spotter to help with reversing as there is no reversing camera and while the rear vision mirrors are fine you don't get a full field of vision. The breaks are also very soft and you need to press the break pedal firmly to properly engage them, I found that by pre pumping the breaks they worked much better. An honest assessment of this van would be that it is best suited to family's with young children or no more than 3 adults. We also suggested that the internal mat's or carpets be removed as this would help with keeping the van clean easer, These mats contributed to one of our sons hay fever flaring up in a bad way due to the amount of dust in the van. Has this put us off using a camper van in the future? As a family, Yes. But as a couple my wife and I would comfortably us one again.
