We had the best time in donut. Donut took us from A to B with no issues. Shes a little slow on an incline but nothing she cant handle. Donut was clean and had all the facilities we needed for our time in NZ. Katie and her partner Ash were incredible support through the trip, responding to minor issues with electricity and helping us fix the problem. They also gave out handy tips of things to do. If youre thinking about booking donut you wont regret it.

Donut was a great van for a trip from Queenstown up to Mt Cook/Aoraki and Lake Tekapo. The van was very clean and spacious in the back with enough room to fit in the bed given my height being 197cm (the bed was also very comfortable too). The kitchen portion of the van was very well thought out with a pump for the internal water tap, powered fridge, enough utensils/kitchenware, and electrical ports for charging items and lighting. The only comment is the leg room in the driver's seat however most people shouldn't have an issue with this leg room. It was also nice to be able to connect to bluetooth in the van to play music/podcasts. All in all, it was a great self sufficient van and Katie & Ash were very helpful and clear with communication of the booking. Highly recommend Donut

Donut was great for our trip from Milford Sound up to Lake Tekapo, the van had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable to sleep two. The van was more fuel efficient than I was expecting which was nice. Katie was also very friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommend donut.

We had an excellent time with Donut, thanks to Katie! The van was fully equipped for a self-sufficient week away, with a well-thought-out setup that made everything easily accessible. Before departing Queenstown, we received clear instructions from Katie, so we didnt have to spend time figuring out the vans functions. The mattress was spacious and comfortable. The car drove smoothly, and we had no issues with its day-to-day operation. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our time in Donut. He was great to drive and explore the south island. Being fully self contained made our options of camping areas much easier. Cooking and making coffee was a breeze. Donut has plenty of extra storage room for clothes etc. The tinted windows were nice, so you can still have some privacy with the curtains open. The interior design of Donut was very cosy and the bed was so comfy and warm. We would definitely recommend Donut as a home on wheels. Katie was great to deal with. She was very helpful and quick to respond to any messages. Thanks so much Katie.

What can we say?! Thank you so much Katie for your prompt communication, flexibility and putting us at ease hiring your van. Donut is such a great little van and perfect for any adventure big or small. The photos are accurate although we must admit, we think it looks bigger and more spacious in real life! The bed is super comfy, the car drives well, and has all the creature comforts to make sure you have a wonderful trip (cleaning supplies, picnic blanket, spare sheets, extra blankets for cold nights, towels, table and chairs, all cooking utensils - honestly it has it all!) we have just completed a 16 night trip around the South Island and had a ball. We cant recommend Katie and her van enough! This van is such a bargain and so much better value than what you get with the big hire companies. Thanks again, Katie!

Wonderful! Katie and Ash gave us absolutely everything we could hope for (both in available objects, and instructions). They were very kind to make us drop back the van on the day of Christmas, while they were understandably busy with meeting their family - we really appreciated their trust in us. Hugs

I'll start by saying that Donut was an absolutely fantastic van. Incredibly maintained, designed, and fully equipped with everything needed to make my trip stress-free. I was sad to say goodbye, if I ever get my own van I'll model it off of the design of Donut. Katie and Ash were absolutely wonderful people to deal with, they were incredibly honest, responsive, friendly, and helpful. Basically a very good van leased by very good people. Highly recommend!
