This campervan has most/all things you would need and is very handy and cozy! At the beginning of our trip, we had some issues with the battery system. In communication with Sue and Frank, we changed the battery (during our trip) and had no troubles after that. They even gave us a night at a camping site in Raglan as compensation for the troubles.

Arnold was a dream to ride and drive, super spacious + comfortable bed and sleep! Arny is super robust so I felt confident on my first journey traveling solo. Double sided doors makes the world of difference when navigating luggage and creates more space when chilling out in down time. Heaps of power and control on the road, rides like a plane. Frank and Sue were fast communicators, problem solvers, accommodating and professional. Top tier people. Thanks for making this initial camping experience the best van gang! Ha

Pros - great van to drive. Frank and Sue very easy to deal with. Van has all the basics you need. Comfy. Great value for money. Would definitely recommend despite the very small negatives below. Cons (nothing major but worth knowing) - the fridge is just a chilly bin that plugs into cigarette lighter so only works when you're driving. Could be an issue in summer if you park up for a few days. Also worth bringing one of those split charging cables as chilly bin plugged in means only one usb port for charging devices. Sliding van door a bit sticky and didn't always shut properly - you can fix it with the dashboard buttons so worth checking this out at handover. Overall happy with the rental and with the support we got with the van door - things can always go wrong but if you get help that's a big plus.

Holiday was amazing I did so much of the land and had an epic time , amazing people & organisation and service with the van and all of it! Cant complain super stoked and cant wait to do it again :-)

Cheap and nice option for low budget. Not a lot a space but we spend 3 entire weeks in it under the rain and that was ok!

We loved spending 2,5 weeks in Tommy! Its a really nice van and the communication with Sue was perfect. Would definitely recommend!

Everything you need in this van + generous extras (local bread and coffee). Older vehicle but it went v well, no probs, bed clunky but comfy :) good internal space. We had fun.

Filibert was always a good and reliable friend to us. It was comfortable to sleep in and clean when we got it. We travelled 7 weeks with Filibert, we never had any mechanical problems with it and it had everything youll need for a camping adventure. The owners are very kind and friendly and the communication with them was very easy and uncomplicated. So we can definitely recommend renting Filibert to everybody, who is looking for a Van to explore the great landscapes of New Zealand!!
