  John was exceptional to deal with. He was very helpful, accommodating and responsive. We could not have asked for a better person to work with. A little bit more information on the unit itself would have been helpful before we departed. The unit is a European based van which means that everything other than the steering wheel is really on the wrong side for how New Zealand is set up. This made it awkward at times for setting up the awning as you are setting it up facing the people beside you. Also, getting out of the unit using the back door when you are street parking is onto the street which is less safe than departing onto the sidewalk. The water fill, power and grey water line are on the wrong side for New Zealand which made filling and dumping somewhat less convenient but we managed. These are things that could have been outlined more clearly in advance. The floor of the unit was very dirty when we took it over and the outside could have used a clean. All that being said, John was truly fantastic to work with and even though we did a bit of damage to the unit, he was very reassuring and kind which helped alleviate our stress over the incident. I cannot say enough kind words about John. He even loaned us a bike as we were a group of four, with only three bikes. Terrific fella all around. Super accommodating and just wonderful to work with.

  We had the BEST time ! Prior to our 10 night journey John provided us an extensive introduction and also on pick-up day. No questions were left unanswered and we felt very confident heading off on our travels. This motorhome was equipped with EVERYTHING we needed and is incredibly warm and comfortable. It drives VERY well on the open-road, and is stable and secure even in a good Canterbury Nor 'Wester wind! Off grid there is ample power wherever your travels take you. We will be re-booking another adventure, [hopefully in the same motorhome], and HIGHLY recommend John & Nicci for your next motorhome vacation solution, Thanks guys, - we WILL be back!
