SUPPLIED Tea towels. dish cloth, shower mat and mattress protectors come standard with the van, linen - bath towels, face cloths, hand towels, sheets, pillows, pillow cases and duvet can be hired at an additional total cost of $30.00. KITCHEN Basic essentials include tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, pots, pans, toaster, kettle, coffee plunger, chopping board, basic kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery for up to 4 people, cleaning products, bucket, brush and shovel, rubbish bags, dishwashing liquid. ADDITIONAL We are happy to supply additional bedding, towels, kitchen gadgets and appliances, outdoor equipment and other items to make your journey fit more with your lifestyle at an additional charge - just ask. LOCATION "Miles of Memories" is located in Levin, approximately 1 hour North of Wellington and 40 mins South of Palmerston North. Pick up and drop offs are possible within one hours drive from Levin at no additional charge for bookings of 7 days or more as well as leaving your vehicle with us if required. We can purchase any grocery items in advance if needed and simply on-charge to you for your convenience. The motorhome will be supplied with a full tank of diesel and must be returned with a full tank at the end of your journey otherwise a refuelling fee of NZD $50.00 will apply plus the cost of diesel. This also applies to the gas bottle. Please empty the toilet cassette before returning. A NZD$200.00 fee will apply if it is unclean to dispose of the waste. RUC’s Road user charges is a government tax on diesel vehicles in NZ. An additional fee of $0.09 per km to be paid on return of the motorhome. AdBlue is charged at $0.02 per km and paid with RUC’s Drivers must be 25 yrs or older, hold a full clean license and identification needs to be shown upon booking and pick up. Please do not drive on off-roading areas, beaches, unsealed roads, ski field access roads or prohibited NZTA listed roads. HOUSE RULES Please treat our motorhome as you would your own. Leave the home tidy Refill with diesel prior to drop off Refill gas cylinders prior to drop off No cooking of food with strong odours. Deodorising fee of $100.00 will apply for ANY strong odours food or other Soft luggage only to be stored inside, no bikes, scooters, skateboards etc Please wash off any sand before entering the home . A bucket is provided. The motorhome will be supplied with a full tank of fresh water and an empty tank of grey water . Please empty grey tank before returning - we will fill the fresh tank when returned Anything not mentioned, please just ask.   John and Vicky delivered the motorhome to us in Palmerston North as agreed. Johns introduction was quite brief and quick, which wasnt a problem for us as experienced motorhome users. However, we were a bit confused by the fresh/waste water display, as the water indicator showed red. John told us that the fresh water tank was full and the waste tank empty. Once we were on the road, no water came out of the tap. We sent them a photo of the display, and they said everything was fine. Since there was still no water, we tried refilling the tankand indeed, it turned out to be completely empty. We found that rather strange. A rear tire that burst due to our own fault was replaced by us at our own expense with an identical tire. There were several issues with the motorhome, which we also reported to the owners: The most serious one was that we couldnt take bicycles with us, even though our New Zealand friend had arranged them especially for us. The rear door would only close without bikes if slammed with full force. With bikes mounted on the rack, a gap remained open, making it impossible to seal properly. As a result, we decided not to take them, which was a significant limitation for us. The second major issue was that the lumbar support of the drivers seat could not be adjusted. It was fully extended, which caused me severe back pain. There was no proper four-legged camping table, only a single-legged one that attaches to the sliding door and serves as a small shelf for outdoor cooking. It was far too high to sit at. The camping chairs were the cheapest possible type, and it was not possible to sit on them comfortably for any extended period. The knives were blunt, and the small pair of scissors was unusable. It would have been nice if John and Vicky had offered us some form of compensation for these inconveniences. Instead, the very next day they filed a damage report with Camplify, claiming that the rim of the replaced tire had been damaged. However, the tire shop where we had the tire replaced could not find any damage at all. Conclusion: An inadequately or incorrectly equipped motorhome and petty behavior from the owners after its returnunfortunately, this left us with a very unpleasant aftertaste.

  We recently hired Miles of Memories from John and Vicki and couldnt have asked for a better experience. The van was in excellent condition, clean, comfortable, and perfect for our needs Communication with Vicki and John was easy & friendly throughout the process. We had a great break away and would happily recommend them and their camper to others Thank you

  The van was great & John & Vicki were easy to work with & communication was professional & timely. Unfortunately, our van did not have any hot water which meant we stayed in more van parks than planned. We also had to buy a blanket each as the what was supplied was not sufficient. All in all, we were very happy & woud definitely use Camplify again.

  Perfect size for a couple. Equipped with all you need. The bed is super-comfortable. The heater worked a treat when the weather turned unexpectedly very cold (hail storms included).
