"Making Memories" has a twin, you can now travel in convoy with friends or family in "Miles of Memories" see this listing for other bed configurations etc We have owned a motorhome for 2 years and absolutely love being on the road, so much so that we decided to purchase motorhomes to share with people like you that want to experience the great outdoors of our beautiful country. We are located in Levin but are happy to deliver to Wellington, Kapiti Coast or Palmerston North free of charge for bookings of 7 days or more This compact yet surprisingly spacious 7mt Mercedes drives like a car, holds the road well, is easy to park and comfortably sleeps 3 people. The main bed can be made as a King Size, Double or Twin beds and a separate single bed can be made up at the front of the vehicle. During the day, there is heaps of sitting space plus the table can be set either across the long bench or in front of the single seat. Shower and loo, all the necessary kitchen items, gas cooking and hot water, great sound system and storage throughout, even an inbuilt safe for precious items. You'll make some wonderful memories on a trip in this vehicle. There is a permanent bike rack on the rear doors and we have additional outdoor equipment available to hire, boogie board, skim board, games etc, just ask you never know we may have what you are looking for Additional information SUPPLIED Tea towels. dish cloth, shower mat and mattress protectors come standard with the van, linen - bath towels, face cloths, hand towels, sheets, pillows, pillow cases and duvet can be hired at an additional total cost of $30.00. KITCHEN Basic essentials include tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, pots, pans, toaster, kettle, coffee plunger, chopping board, basic kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery for up to 4 people, cleaning products, bucket, brush and shovel, rubbish bags, dishwashing liquid. ADDITIONAL We are happy to supply additional bedding, towels, kitchen gadgets and appliances, outdoor equipment and other items to make your journey fit more with your lifestyle at an additional charge - just ask. LOCATION "Making Memories" is located in Levin, approximately 1 hour North of Wellington and 40 mins South of Palmerston North. Pick up and drop offs are possible within one hours drive from Levin at no additional charge for bookings of 7 days or more as well as leaving your vehicle with us if required. We can purchase any grocery items in advance if needed and simply on-charge to you for your convenience. The motorhome will be supplied with a full tank of diesel and must be returned with a full tank at the end of your journey otherwise a refuelling fee of NZD $50.00 will apply plus the cost of diesel. This also applies to the gas bottle. Please empty the toilet cassette before returning. A NZD$200.00 fee will apply if it is unclean to dispose of the waste. RUC’s Road user charges is a government tax on diesel vehicles in NZ. An additional fee of $0.09 per km to be paid on return of the motorhome. AdBlue is charged at $0.02 per km and paid with RUC’s Drivers must be 25 yrs or older, hold a full clean license and identification needs to be shown upon booking and pick up. Please do not drive on off-roading areas, beaches, unsealed roads, ski field access roads or prohibited NZTA listed roads. HOUSE RULES Please treat our motorhome as you would your own. Leave the home tidy Refill with diesel prior to drop off Refill gas cylinders prior to drop off No cooking of food with strong odours. Deodorising fee of $100.00 will apply for ANY strong odours food or other Soft luggage only to be stored inside, no bikes, scooters, skateboards etc Please wash off any sand before entering the home . A bucket is provided. The motorhome will be supplied with a full tank of fresh water and an empty tank of grey water . Please empty grey tank before returning - we will fill the fresh tank when returned Anything not mentioned, please just ask.   New Zealand is amazing, and visiting with a campervan is a very nice way to see a lot of fantastic places. Unfortunately we had a few issues with this van that not only caused us to waste a lot of travel time, but could also have been quite dangerous: we had to change the windshield wipers as they were completely finished, the backup camera was flaky which caused an incident of costly consequences, and worse, we had to get two tires changed in the middle of the trip as one of them started a slow leak, and that was very lucky for us because we were then able to notice that that tire was so completely worn out in some spots that one could see the metal wires sticking out! Given that NZ roads are notoriously curvy and windy, I hate to think about what could have happened had the tire blown-out while driving! Also the brakes were very noisy, and it sounded like they were way past due their maintenance date. These are all obvious signs that the van was not well maintained, and I would certainly never rent from these owners again.

  Nice compact van, well equipped, good to drive. Communication from owners was good, although we'd have liked to know that the greywaste may not drain if there's only a little in it (we'd not used it much) Good heater, which we appreciated on a cold wet Labour weekend. Comfortable bed (we added our thick underlay) and good lighting. Access to the main storage (under bed) is tricky in wet weather, as primary access is through back doors Hopefully problems with reversing camera & USB charger will get fixed Quite high to get into (we took our own step)

  We had the most amazing time and definitely made memories to last a life time on a 4 week trip in Vicki and Johns camper! Had everything we need and couldnt fault it at all. The only problem was having to give the keys back at the end of our trip! The van is practically brand new and drives just like it. Highly recommend and very good value for money. Thanks guys :)

  Awesome first time experience in a motorhome! Definitely recommend Vicki and John as hosts - great communication, easy handover and everything you need in the van. I would book with them again to experience more of New Zealand AAA+++
