LUGGAGE - should be SOFT SHELL BAGS. There’s nowhere to accommodate hard shell suitcases. COLLECTION AND DROP OFF - • Location: 99 Ridge Rd, Howick, Auckland 2019 • Pickup is available from 10am • Drop off by 5pm • Allow 45 minutes to an hour at Van collection and drop off times • Please shuttle, taxi or Uber to our location INSPECTION PROCESS - We’ll help familiarise you with how everything works and go through all the paperwork and Van inspection. This process shouldn’t be rushed and forms an important part of the Camplify Insurance Cover. The same inspection process is repeated on return, so please allow plenty of time. The inspection process must be done in DAYLIGHT. FREEDOM CAMPING - The battery storage for the solar panels on Wanda lasts for approximately two-three days of Freedom Camping. (This is dependent on sunshine levels, how much the van moves and which appliances and plugs you use and how often). We recommend staying in a camping ground every second or third day and connecting to a normal power source to recharge, if in doubt. During the Summer months, this may not always be required but is not guaranteed. TO EXTEND FREEDOM CAMP TIME you should utilise these things in the Van: Low Energy fridge Gas Cooking or BBQ Cooking Gas Cooktop Kettle for Boiling water Gas Hot water Diesel Heater Low energy - 12V Lightings Items that REDUCE FREEDOM CMPING TIME: Microwave Power Plugs for charging Devices Electric Kettle or Toaster RATES - are advertised from the base day rates but do increase to SHOULDER and HIGH SEASON rates.

Hiring rules

• EXPLORING and RELAXING are the main priority, please enjoy and use Wanda like you would your own
• HIRER Age restrictions is 25yrs
• EMERGENCY In case of any engine lights coming on the dashboard, please pullover and notify us. If an accident occurs, get off the road if you can and call Camplify on 0800 779 779
• PLEASE NO OFFROAD DRIVING no Beach Driving no Extended Gravel Roads no Smoking inside no pets sorry
• UNSEALED ROADS we know sometimes the perfect spot is just at the end of that gravel road. Please keep driving on unsealed roads to a minimum. It's really hard on all the gear inside the van. There are some specific roads and Ninety Mile Beach, that are prohibited to drive on in Wanda because they are not covered any Insurance companies. We'll let you know those ones.
• SHORT TRIPS – Wanda is not available for long trips when Hires are 5days or less
• LONG TRIPS – Hires of 5 days or more, are welcome to take the van up to 200 kilometers a day. This is averaged out over the duration of hire Example: 5 days hire 5 x 200km Allowance: 1000km for hire permitted in the standard rate. Additional kms will be charged at 30c per km and deducted on completion of the hire.
• FUEL – Please return the van full of DIESEL. All hires include a full tank upon departure. Road user charges is a government tax which is payable on return calculated at 9 cents per kilometer traveled based on the hubometer reading.
• HOUSEKEEPING – A broom and shovel/brush are provided for your comfort. Please give the van a quick sweep out of sand and dirt as you travel. You will be climbing on swabs and chairs while staying in the van. Please remove your shoes to do that. We recommend bringing flip flops.
• BEDDING All sleepers must use the mattress protectors provided
• CLEANING – Please clean all cooking equipment, cutlery, pots and pans and BBQ before returning Wanda. Extra cleaning of BBQ will be charged for @ $199.00
• ODORS Cooking of fish, curries or any foods with strong odors should be done outside. Used nappies should be disposed of daily. Extra cleaning to remove odors from the van will be charged for @ $199.00
• TOWELS These are provided for interior van use. Please bring own beach towels or old towels for muddy activities. There is an old towel in the laundry box for wet floors and miserable conditions
• AWNING AND OUTDOOR EQUIPMENT Should be packed away before bedtime and before bad weather rolls in. Please keep an eye on weather forecasts
• ROOF HATCHES – Please check from the outside of the van that all roof hatches are closed, and awning is away, before departing
• TOILET TANK It is expected that the van is returned with an emptied toilet tank. This should be done before leaving your last campsite. Or please refer to Campers Mate NZ App for Dump stations. A $199.00 charge applies to toilet tanks that require emptying
• STORAGE Outdoor sports equipment must be stored on bike rack or in exterior lockers only
• LUGGAGE Please bring your Luggage in soft bags or backpacks. The van compartments are not suitable for storing framed or hard shell suitcase
• SPOTTER This is someone who gets out of the vehicle checks everything and helps guide the van. Please use one when parking, reversing or leaving a site. We think the best way to avoid scraping an overhead tree, or departing with the awning still up (we've done this) is to have a spotter.
• DAMAGE But if you do have a scrap or damage the vehicle it should be reported through Camplify Messenger. All the details are needed for Insurance purposes: who, what, where and when
• AGE OF GUESTS There are a lot of moving parts and hazards in Wanda for preschoolers. Because of this we think Wanda is best suited to families with schoolaged children and older
