TOW BALL - 50mm REQUIRED (please check yours is NOT the factory 1 & 7/8) TOW VEHICLE - legally required to be minimum 2.5 tonne braked rated. Check your vehicle rating here -https://www.aa.co.nz/cars/owning-a-car/towing/towing-weights ELECTRIC BRAKES - LTSA and insurance requirement. If you do not have an electric brake unit installed in your tow vehicle NO PROBLEMS just select the bluetooth unit in EXTRAS. TOTAL LENGTH of van and drawbar is a touch over 7m. TYRE (Truck) PRESSURES - COLD 54psi or WARM 58psi EMERGENCY - If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 03 6681211 option 4. They will then connect you through to 24hr AA assistance.

INSTRUCTIONS - Ernie's comprehensive 'How to' manual will be sent electronically through Camplify messages prior to your trip to assist handover. A hard copy is also located in the van to use as and when you need. This provides you a detailed set instructions for 240V and off grid camping with YouTube video links that explain how to safely use all his listed features. Set up and pack up checklist is also within the manual for efficient and effective arrival and departure procedures.
Hiring rules
- TRAVEL UNSEALED/GRAVEL ROADS is allowed. OFF ROAD and/or BEACH travel is prohibited. PETS Ernies loves pets but sharp claws and shedding hair can create significant cleaning and caravan repair challenges that owners will have to sort directly.
- CHILDREN Caravans and all their buttons, switches, gadgets are designed for careful and non combative fingers. Ernie loves to share the camping life with children but he does have things that break easily which falls on parents to organise repair/replacement costs.
- SMOKING/VAPING prohibited inside Ernie's cabin and awning.
- EMERGENCY/DAMAGE if a road accident occurs get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 03 668 1211 option 4. If minor damage/breakage occurs please report IMMEDIATELY to owner so repair/replacement logisitics can be sorganised immediately.

- CLEANING you will receive Ernie in tip top and sanitised condition. We expect you to treat him as if you have borrowed him from your inlaws ie. return just as clean. Make it easy and pay for the clean me payment option. By SELECTING the clean me option I will also provide and launder all necessary LINEN/BEDDING/TOWELS etc.
- TOILET cassette MUST be returned empty following a comprehensive rinse and clean after every hire. Internal toilet and surrounding floor/wall MUST be thoroughly wiped with supplied sanitisation cleaning products. Time poor choose the CLEAN ME toilet inclusive option in EXTRAS and simply return the cassette empty.

Cancellations
Strict
- Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
