The surfer's escape has just been converted and nothing was spared in making this the best campervan in New Zealand. You'll feel like you're in the tropics with it's light and colorful fitout. Ask about reduced rates for bookings over 2 weeks. -It has a super comfy king sized foam mattress with bedding -Standup headroom -Great cooking station -Powered refrigerator -Dimmer switch lighting -Blackout window inserts for full privacy -Tons of storage -Nearly endless power with two large solar panels -Internal access from the cab to the living area -Roofracks -Table sitting area -Plumbed sink -Toilet -Cooker and all the kitchen essentials, including an electric jug, coffee, tea and sugar -optional electric scooter for hire for zipping around when you have a great spot and you don't want to pack up. - not self-contained - No self contained sticker

Hiring rules

  • Hiring rules: No charge for tolls No offroad driving / beach driving / extended driving on gravel roads. A towball and lights connection are there, but if you're planning on towing anything you'll need to check with the owner first. Driving on unsealed roads must be preapproved in writing (in Camplify Messages) before the trip begins. No smoking inside / pets only upon application Hirer age restriction 24 Vehicle must be returned clean and in the condition it was turned over or risk an additional cleaning fee pickup / dropoff times are flexible and should be arranged with owner. Any damage must be reported immediately – who, what, where and when will be required. Pull over immediately if any engine lights come on. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe and call Camplify on 0800 779 779 – they will advise on how to contact roadside assistance. Then call me! Payment of a deposit is required within 48hrs of your booking being approved, otherwise I may cancel it. Road User Charges are additional to your daily set rate and charged at 0.10c per km travelled For hires over 1,000km of driving a per km rate of 0.10/km will be added to cover maintenance.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Great tidy van supplied with all you would need. Clever window shades that pull down for complete blockout. Enough spare battery power for fridge, chargers and lights. Fan included. Would definitely use again. Uses diesel. Be sure to check where you can camp first.

    Great van for our weekend trip to Coromandal. The van itself was extremely easy to drive, and it handled well on uphill roads. Great on Fuel. The solar panels and equipment in the van made life so easy and simple, and were very well set up. David was easy to communicate with for pick up, and drop off. Highly recommend this van for your next adventure.
