Ollie is a qualified mechanic with 15+ years experience, and works full time for one of NZs top Motorsport teams! Vanessa is located in Queenstown and available for: - Airport or Accommodation pickup and drop off (Included) - Cromwell and Wanaka Pick-up/Drop-off is also available Vehicle: - Super reliable 1996 Toyota Hiace - 3 Seats - 2.8L Diesel engine (Economical and relatively powerful but no speed demon) - Manual Transmission - Bluetooth sound system with 4 upgraded speakers - Central locking with keyless entry - Roof racks (surf boards, kayaks etc.) - Tow bar - Awning (super easy to set up) + tie downs and side cover - Snorkel (mostly to look and sound awesome - please don't test her underwater capability) - New spare tyre and tools to change it SLEEPING - Fixed bed 1750 long x 1260 wide (very close to the size of a double bed 1880x1370) If you are a little taller - no worries, the bedding is oversized and you won’t have cold feet! Hiring rules

• Please pay the deposit within 48 hrs of approval to secure the booking. Your booking may be cancelled if no contact or arrangement is made.
• No Smoking inside.
• Unsealed roads OK.
• No cooking inside the van please (unless you have to or doors open).
• Awning Use of the awning in bad weather is not advised and at your own risk. Please follow setup instructions and guidelines. Damage to the awning may result in a fine up to full replacement value.
• RUC to be charged at 0.09c/km (Road user charges for Diesel vehicles).
• Fuel Please return the van with a full tank of Diesel.
• Cleaning Please return the van clean as it was presented to you. A fee may result if it is not. (If you don't want to, please select the cleaning fee upon booking)
• No freedom camping unless in areas that allow nonself contained vehicles (Vanessa is not Certified Self Contained)
• Please inform us ASAP if any damage occurs
• Please inform us if the fire extinguisher, blanket or first aid kit are used (You won't be charged)

• Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

  I ADORED Vanessa. She was reliable and got me up and down all of the mountains of the West Coast & Southland of the South Island. This van was clean and had more than enough storage. The bed is comfy, plenty of bedding, thick curtains and the fairy lights are gorgeous evening lighting. She had the perfect amount of kitchen utensils and the gas cooker was brilliant. I'm hooked on vanlife after travelling around in Vanessa for 2 weeks. Thank you for helping me explore your beautiful home

  Vanessa was absolutely amazing for exploring New Zealand, very comfortable and easy to drive. Ollie was great to deal with and gave us a really good overview of Vanessa. Would definitely hire her again if I was back!

  We had the best time in Vanessa touring the South Island for 3 weeks. She has everything youd need and a surprising amount of storage space. Shes really well equipped for different temperatures with extra blankets and a hot water bottle and nice extra touches like beach towels as well as regular ones. Shes super cozy and beautifully decorated inside, much nicer than some of the austere fit outs from the big name camping companies. Ollie was really great to liaise with and was there whenever we needed him, and gave us some great recommendations of things to to while we were here. We couldnt have wished for a better experience, if youre after a van that has tonnes of character and is in great condition Vanessa is your girl!
