Little Red

Little Red is the perfect size for easy driving as well as maximum relaxing. I've spent a lot of time with it seaside, riverside or mountainside, simply enjoying the scenery. Located in the Top of The South, a convenient starting point to explore the beautiful Nelson Bays area. Due to the age of this vehicle, she is available for local trips only - top of the South from Takaka to Murchison to Blenheim. Thank you for your understanding. I may be able to pick you up from Nelson airport if that's how you're planning to travel here, just ask. Note there will be an additional cost for airport shuttle to cover fuel and travel time ($40 each way). This camper has a double bed that folds up to two bench seats with storage underneath, and a basic kitchen setup in the back. It contains everything you need for one or two people to camp comfortably for a few days at a time, including bedding (sheets only, or blankets too, you choose) and blackout curtains, cutlery, cooker and fresh water storage. It's not self-contained which means your stay will be in commercial campgrounds, DOC campgrounds, freedom camping spots where self-containment isn't required, or anywhere far out and wild where there's a toilet. In the South Island this means you still have plenty of options. It's an older model and definitely has character, the body is a bit rough in places and the exterior paint has suffered under the NZ sun, but it's reliable and all in working order with a good heater, 12V charger and stereo with bluetooth.
