Orange is a reliable campervan that will take you to the most beautiful camping spots in Aotearoa! With the Automatic transmission and turbo diesel engine it is easy to steer this campervan to the campgrounds of your dreams. Orange drives smoothly and is a real holiday cruiser with your own tunes over the 6 speakers inside. With a separate kitchen in the back from the living/sleeping area you will have optimum comfort during your stay. The kitchen includes pots, pans, cutlery, basic pantry, a 2 burner gasstove and small bin. There are 25 litres of fresh water with an electric water tap. In the living area you'll find a foldable table to seat 2 adults and 2 children. Once the table is fold-in you have enough space to sleep with 2 adults on the 2.0 mtr x 1.2 mtr bed. Under the bed you will find two big drawers to put your clothes, towels etc. There is a 220 volt inverter mounted as well, to fast charge all you small devices like mobile phones, camera and laptop! The aircon keeps you fresh an awake on those hot summer days. Feel like bringing your canoe or surfboards, heaps of space on the roof racks. Get on the road and enjoy, orange will do the hard work ;)

Hiring rules

  • No smoking inside vehicle
  • This campervan has to stay on the south Island, take it on the ferry to the north island is not alloud.
  • No offroading, its a 2wd
  • Return the campervan in the condition you received it on the day of pickup, which means:
  • Inside is Clean
  • Linen in the "Laundry bag"
  • Bin empty
  • Full tank of fuel at PickUp means Full tank at drop off.
  • Cabinets and fridge empty
  • All gear in storage as it was with PickUp
  • Chemical Toilet Clean and disinfected
  • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Excellent, the van drives easy and theres a lot of inner room to be comfortable. Is quiet convenient to be able to cook inside without the need of opening any door , specially at the west coast, where moskito and sunfly tides are very common. Not an issue at all. Mechanically very tight. We had a easy and friendly communication with Niels, who was always present when needed.

Hi everyone! In august 2017 I started travelling New Zealand. After several months travelling from the North to the South Island I ended up in Queenstown and stayed there for more than 4 years. As many of you it was my dream to travel and life in a campervan for a while, so my first project converting a regular van into a self-contained campervan has started. Having an Automotive Engineering degree helped me a lot getting the van up to the specs as I wanted, with solar energy including 220volt converter for an optimal and comfortable travel. This was a big project but very satisfying process. Hereby I can present you my latest project ORANGE.
