Say hello to "Buzz", our trusty Toyota Hiace! Buzz is an awesome travel buddy, containing a convertible double bed and internal kitchen. There's plenty of storage space, well-stocked (e.g. kitchen utensils, plates/bowls/cups, outdoor chairs, duvet/pillows) and comes with a solar-powered second battery and cooler (to make extended stays away from the city easy). The rear sliding doors both have windows with mosquito net covers to help make those West coast missions more tolerable. Buzz is fully self-contained and green sticker certified so you are all good to get out there and explore this beautiful country! We're happy to help with itinerary suggestions :-) **N.B. Pick-up and drop-off is usually only from our home in Dunedin.

Hiring rules

No offroad driving/beach driving. Driving on gravel roads is okay for short distances but please drive slowly and carefully.
No smoking inside.
No pets.
LONG TRIPS Hirers are welcome to take the van up to 200 km per day. This will be averaged out over the duration of hire Example: 7 days hire 7x 200 km Allowance: 1,400 km for hire permitted in the rate, additional kms will be charged at 30c per km and deducted on completion of the hire.
FUEL Return full of PETROL 91 All hires include a full tank upon departure.
CLEANING Clean the equipment and Van. Excessive cleaning will incur a charge.
COOKING GAS Return FULL if used heavily refilled from petrol stations or Rockgas stores.
WATER TANK Return clean water tank full and waste tank empty.
TOILET Return empty and cleaned.
DAMAGE Any damage must be reported immediately.
ENGINE LIGHT Pull over immediately if any engine lights come on. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe and call Camplify on 0800 779 779 – they will advise on how to contact roadside assistance. Then call us!

Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Pricing

Hire Fee: From $75.00 per day
Service fee: $80.00

Cancellations

Strict

Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

New Zeland is beautiful and a van is the perfect way to see this wild country. Buzz is amazing, a trusty vehicle, with a fantastic and comfortable bed and comes with everything you need (kitchen utensils, fridge, lights and many other). Elodie was very kind and available. She responded very quickly to all messages. Fantastic experience!!!

Buzz was perfect, has everything you could possibly need and more, the bed is comfy, plenty of storage and very tidy. Adrian and Elodie made pick up and drop a breeze. We spent 12 nights with buzz and highly recommend!

Buzz was such a cosy van and had all the comforts we didnt even know we needed for our trip. There was plenty of space for us to relax, cook and live in, and the bed/couch changeover was easy and quick. There were lots of little touches that were so helpful (such as the chargers, water/sink set up, spice rack and more. Elodie was awesome with her communication and although we had a couple of hiccups along the way she was very understanding and supportive, thank you Elodie! :)

Buzz was the perfect companion for our trip. It drives well, it's comfy, offers good sleep... We loved every minute with Buzz, and strongly recommend. Last but not least, Adrian and Elody are quick to reply and are the nicest couple, thank you very much guys !
