  Skipper was great for our 4 week road trip around the south, we managed to do around 4000Km of driving and we never had any troubles on any roads or hills. Super easy to drive, we were surprised with how fuel efficient skipper was also which was a bonus as there are many decent stretches without gas stations within the South Island! We had everything we needed in skipper and the bed was really comfy. Any queries we had Stan was super quick to reply and made it super easy for us. Couldnt have asked for a better trip and we will always have strong memories of our time in Skipper!

  We enjoyed every day of our journey with Skipper! He always was convenient and had everything we needed (kitchen facilities, gas stove, fridge and an extra solar powered battery). Skipper has been build with love. Stan was always helpful, answered very quickly and gave us recommodations what we should explore. In summary we definetely recommend Stan and Skipper!

  I loved the van, I found it cosy and comfortable, had everything I needed. Loved the solar panel to keep fridge going when I wasnt driving. Was easy to drive, but slow on hills- that was fine by me . Highly recommend this van for a camping trip

  We had a brilliant 3 weeks exploring the South Island in Skipper! Stan was very easy to communicate with throughout and was accommodating with drop off/pick up arrangements. He was also quick to respond to the few questions we had along the way during our trip. The van drives smoothly despite being a bit on the older side, we had no mechanical issues during our whole lap of the island. Theres no A/C in the van but we didnt find this to be a problem at all even in the middle of summer. Pick up is in Wanaka but we found it very easy to get here by the direct Ritchies bus from Queenstown airport which drops you off just round the corner from where Skipper is located.

  This van had everything we wanted for our trip through the south island. The perfect buddy! Very reliable feel! Comms with Stan are super easy, too! :) Strong recommendation!
