Timmy is the perfect van, great layout and did use well for 3 weeks. However, if you are on the taller side you could struggle. Drives very well and manages all the steep hills and is surprisingly fuel efficient too. Great having the option of cooking completely indoors when raining/sandflies. We found Timmy to be spacious despite being compact. Well equipped and comfortable. Van was very clean and tidy when we collected it and is in good overall condition. Self contained sticker so great for freedom camping (although we didn't need to use the toilet) Prompt communication at all times with Stan made everything easy. Stress free, very sad to say goodbye!

We rented Camperella for 2 months and had a great time! The mattress is really comfortable and she offers everything one needs on a roadtrip. She is an elderly lady, which means she has her ups and downs, be prepared for that. For us this meant no music during most of the roadtrip as it was not working. When it comes to driving, she was very reliable. Took her some time for steep inclines, but she never gave up. If you are looking for an adventure with character rather than pure luxury, go for it. Communication with Stan was superb, always helpful and quick in answering. Thanks so much!

An absolute epic four weeks! Everything was perfect from start to finish. Stans communication was brilliant and the handover was great. He explained everything clearly to make sure we had the best possible trip. The van has everything you need for an incredible time exploring. Its super well designed inside and the table is really easy to turn into a bed in the evening. 10/10

We had the best trip around the south island with Timmy! The van was so well equipped with really thoughtful touches to make everything as comfortable and convenient as possible. We loved being able to put the bed away for rainy days playing cards at the table, and being able to cook inside or outside was a total game changer. Stan was perfect in his communication, super responsive, always really clear and very helpful local tips! Couldn't recommend enough and would definitely hire again

Camperella was a really nice van and we had amazing trip around the south island. Everything worked and was as described by Stan. He was also very quick and clear with the communication and even picked us up from Queenstown airport with very short notice. It is easy to recommend Camperella to anyone who wants to experience proper camper life in NZ! We hope to travel again with Camperella!

I rented this van and travelled around the South Island for two weeks, and it was an absolutely great experience. The bed is super comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook your own meals. The van is incredibly cosy, and I found it very relaxing to spend my evenings hanging out inside. The vehicle itself is exactly what youd expect from an old Hiace: simple and reliable. Communication with Stan was excellent he was friendly, helpful, and explained how everything worked so clearly that I didnt have a single question during the entire rental period. Its not a speed machine, but thats not something you expect from an old Hiace anyway. I absolutely loved the experience and already dream of renting it again later in life. I would definitely recommend this van to anyone wanting a cosy and reliable way to explore the South Island.

We rented Timmy for one month in New Zealand and absolutely loved the experience. Stan was incredibly responsive from the very beginning. He always replied super quickly, gave us lots of helpful tips, and made the whole rental process completely effortless. Timmy himself was perfect for our trip. Even though hes a bit older, we didnt have a single issue. The van is thoughtfully designed and comes with everything you could possibly need. We especially loved the flexible setup inside, where you can easily switch between a comfy bed and a cozy seating area. We would rent from Stan again in a heartbeat and can wholeheartedly recommend both Stan and Timmy to anyone!

Skipper was great for our 4 week road trip around the south, we managed to do around 4000Km of driving and we never had any troubles on any roads or hills. Super easy to drive, we were surprised with how fuel efficient skipper was also which was a bonus as there are many decent stretches without gas stations within the South Island! We had everything we needed in skipper and the bed was really comfy. Any queries we had Stan was super quick to reply and made it super easy for us. Couldnt have asked for a better trip and we will always have strong memories of our time in Skipper!

Camperella was the perfect campervan for our travels around the South Island. She handled all kinds of terrain well and had everything inside to keep us right on our trip. Stan is a top bloke who helped us out on multiple occasions, and made sure we were set up for success! Would highly recommend
