Camperella was a really nice van and we had amazing trip around the south island. Everything worked and was as described by Stan. He was also very quick and clear with the communication and even picked us up from Queenstown airport with very short notice. It is easy to recommend Camperella to anyone who wants to experience proper camper life in NZ! We hope to travel again with Camperella!

I rented this van and travelled around the South Island for two weeks, and it was an absolutely great experience. The bed is super comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook your own meals. The van is incredibly cosy, and I found it very relaxing to spend my evenings hanging out inside. The vehicle itself is exactly what youd expect from an old Hiace: simple and reliable. Communication with Stan was excellent he was friendly, helpful, and explained how everything worked so clearly that I didnt have a single question during the entire rental period. Its not a speed machine, but thats not something you expect from an old Hiace anyway. I absolutely loved the experience and already dream of renting it again later in life. I would definitely recommend this van to anyone wanting a cosy and reliable way to explore the South Island.

We rented Timmy for one month in New Zealand and absolutely loved the experience. Stan was incredibly responsive from the very beginning. He always replied super quickly, gave us lots of helpful tips, and made the whole rental process completely effortless. Timmy himself was perfect for our trip. Even though hes a bit older, we didnt have a single issue. The van is thoughtfully designed and comes with everything you could possibly need. We especially loved the flexible setup inside, where you can easily switch between a comfy bed and a cozy seating area. We would rent from Stan again in a heartbeat and can wholeheartedly recommend both Stan and Timmy to anyone!

Skipper was great for our 4 week road trip around the south, we managed to do around 4000Km of driving and we never had any troubles on any roads or hills. Super easy to drive, we were surprised with how fuel efficient skipper was also which was a bonus as there are many decent stretches without gas stations within the South Island! We had everything we needed in skipper and the bed was really comfy. Any queries we had Stan was super quick to reply and made it super easy for us. Couldnt have asked for a better trip and we will always have strong memories of our time in Skipper!

Camperella was the perfect campervan for our travels around the South Island. She handled all kinds of terrain well and had everything inside to keep us right on our trip. Stan is a top bloke who helped us out on multiple occasions, and made sure we were set up for success! Would highly recommend

We just finished a 3-week trip in Timmy. Our experience with this van was fantastic. The display is the best part, and the fact you can turn the bed into a table is a game changer for the New Zealand weather, which can be super unpredictable. New Zealand has lots of rain, so being able to sit inside for cooking and letting the storms pass makes day-to-day living super easy and fun. This van has plenty of storage, it is very well equipped with cooking gear, and is a super functional setup that makes daily life simple. On colder days you can hang out inside quite comfortably, and on warmer days its great to cook from the back door, enjoy the sun with the camping chairs, and use the outdoor table. We traveled during the month of September, so the weather was still cold. Timmy kept us very warmits a good idea to bring a sleeping bag for the colder months. The van is also super cozy: the lights worked great, and the solar panel let us charge phones, cameras, and computers on a daily basis. Regarding the driving aspect, Timmy was super smooth, fuel efficient, and never gave us a problem during these three weeks. Once again, our highlight of Timmy is the fact you can convert the table into the bed. Its the best investment you can make for the New Zealand van life. Youll be thankful to sit inside on those colder, rainy days. Timmy is a great vanreliable, cozy, and super functional for New Zealand van life.

We rented Camperella for four months, and it was just what we were looking for. Stan was great to deal with, he is super friendly, quick to respond, and always ready to help, even sharing some great local tips. The van was comfortable and fully equipped with everything we needed. The best part was the ability to cook inside, which is a bonus when you're camping with sandflies! We would definitely rent a van from Stan again.

We enjoyed every day of our journey with Skipper! He always was convenient and had everything we needed (kitchen facilities, gas stove, fridge and an extra solar powered battery). Skipper has been build with love. Stan was always helpful, answered very quickly and gave us recommodations what we should explore. In summary we definetely recommend Stan and Skipper!

We had a fantastic holiday traveling around South Island for about 2 weeks in Timmy! Timmy is a the perfect size, easy to drive and park but plenty of space for two people. Equipped with everything we needed and lovely and cosy when the weather was cold. A nicely thought out space so we could spend time in the van when it was raining but so easy to convert from table and chairs to the bed. Stan was very helpful and flexible. Cant wait to plan the next adventure!
