Hiring rules

  • Please treat the Campervan respectfully and keep it tidy
  • No smoking inside the vehicle
  • No Off Roads, Beaches, Gravel Roads or Skifields
  • Campervan will be supplied with full tank of Diesel and will have to be returned with full tank
  • Full Gas Bottle will be supplied at pickup, please return with full gas bottle or cash payment at drop off
  • 100km/day are free to use, $9.00 per 100km will be charged at the end
  • Empty the wastewater and toilet regularly and return empty
  • No Pets allowed
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Hermann was such a great van and we had everything we needed for a wonderful trip. Corinna is an excellent host and it was nice to know we had that support if anything went wrong (it didnt). The bed was surprisingly comfortable and we slept better than at home! We can highly recommend renting this van - you wont be disappointed!

    Herman was very comfortable for two people. Corinna provided everything we needed and more. We would definitely consider renting Herman again in the future.

    We had a lovely time with Hermann. We were on an unpowered site, and the solar panels didn't let us down. The van is well-equipped with everything we need, and the double bed is very comfortable. It drives well, and the stereo system connects to your iPhone, so reading Google Maps and listening to music is a breeze. Corinna picked us up from the airport, which made the handovers very easy. Highly recommended and we will hire again.

    We had a wonderful experience travelling around the Marlborough Region in Herman. It was perfect for the two of us and was very well equipped for every eventuality. Having the 3rd berth upfront enabled us to leave the bed made up and use the front table when needed so very easy when stop starting. The BBQ worked really well and the outdoor chairs and table were very comfy. Corinna was really great to work with and very accommodating with the pick up and drop off, meeting us at the airport in Blenheim at a time that fitted in with our flights. Herman is in excellent condition and obviously well loved and looked after by his owners.

    Great van for 2 of us and everything worked perfectly. Clint gave us a good rundown before we left and they kindly met us at the airport for drop off which was way more convenient. Recommend flying into Blenheim as Wgtonians as hassle free and cheaper airfares. Fantastic mini break. Highly recommend
