We had a wonderful experience travelling around the Marlborough Region in Herman. It was perfect for the two of us and was very well equipped for every eventuality. Having the 3rd berth upfront enabled us to leave the bed made up and use the front table when needed so very easy when stop starting. The BBQ worked really well and the outdoor chairs and table were very comfy. Corinna was really great to work with and very accommodating with the pick up and drop off, meeting us at the airport in Blenheim at a time that fitted in with our flights. Herman is in excellent condition and obviously well loved and looked after by his owners.

Great van for 2 of us and everything worked perfectly. Clint gave us a good rundown before we left and they kindly met us at the airport for drop off which was way more convenient. Recommend flying into Blenheim as Wgtonians as hassle free and cheaper airfares. Fantastic mini break. Highly recommend

From the very first conversation with Corinna everything was easy, she is extremely helpful and friendly, a really lovely lady. Herman was immaculate and ready to go and the handover and run through of instructions was super simple. We toured the beautiful South Island, driving a few hours most days, Herman drives very well and is super comfortable, you can stand up with ease so no head banging. The bed was great (we have bad backs but it didnt give us a problem at all), the awning and built in BBQ are a real bonus and we used them every day. Having a hot shower and loo is a great extra when you camp on DOC sites. The insect net was very useful at times on the west coast. We had amazing weather the whole trip, Herman is heated though if its needed. Corinna has thought of everything you might possibly need, towels and bedding are good quality and generous and there are full cooking utensils, tables, chairs, blankets, games and extra thoughtful touches. You can trust in Corinna to help you plan your trip, she knows what shes taking about. You can trust Herman to get you where you want to go safely, hes a steady drive on all roads, we shared the driving and had no problems at all. Hes the perfect size for a couple and also fits into car parks and handles bendy roads easily. Do not hesitate to book with Corrina, we really do not have a single negative thing to say. In a nutshell - just do it ! To help you here are the key points : 1. Flying into Blenheim and all other airports is an absolute doddle. 2. The Ferry crossing, Picton and Marlborough Sounds are also a must do 3. Freedom Camping, DOC sites, Top 10 sites and Holiday Parks are all brilliant so try them all. 4. Everyone is friendly, helpful and welcoming. 5. Driving and everything mechanical is so simple - dont be concerned about the technical stuff. Herman also has Apple car play /sat nav / cameras etc. 6. New Zealand is the most beautiful country, a dozen countries all in one ! Both islands are incredible, the scenery, beaches, food, vineyards, orchards and culture will blow you away. 7. Hiring a van like Herman is the best way to experience all that is on offer. 8. Camplify is great and excellent value for money. Simple app to use and support at all times if needed. 9. Your heart will slow down the moment you arrive and you will never want your trip to end. 10. Hosts like Corrina are a pleasure to connect with. We will return soon to explore some more. Camplify hosts own their vans, that makes a big difference to the whole experience. This was our first trip to NZ and a van hire. Words cannot convey how great every single day was. If you make a few plans (but keep it all a bit flexible) listen to the clear instructions and be prepared to try something new you will not be disappointed. We traveled Jan/Feb but we reckon all seasons have so much to offer, you cant go wrong. Follow your dreams and book Herman - you wont regret anything. 5 stars are not enough !!

So good! Corinna set Herman and us up with everything we needed plus some lovely treats. Corinna provided all the information in Herman we needed including summaries and photos in a slim folder. Herman was spacious, powerful, and a smooth and comfortable drive. Kept in pristine condition. A luxury campervan holiday. Very very highly recommended.

Wow, wow, wow! We hired this van for a very specific purpose and it met or exceeded all our expectations! Corinna obviously takes great pride in the van as it was spotless. There were loads of lovely little personal touches through out. It is a very well fitter-out van, a pleasure to drive and was ideal for two people over a long weekend. Will definitely be a return customer for Hermon!

Corrina (and Herman) saved our holiday. With multiple Ferry issues our initial campervan got stuck in Wellington, with us in Blenheim, with all cars and hotels long booked. We would've taken anything - we ended up regretting we did not start with Herman in the first place. First of all - a big, spacy and very well organized car. A lot of space inside, 2 beds, two tables inside, proper kitchen, fridge, toilet and shower - all the basics you need. On top of that TV, sounds system (separate for front and back), Sat, chairs and table for outside... and outside grill! Very comfortable, properly lit with multiple USB ports for all your charging needs. Very clean. As for driving part - it's of course bigger than campervans, but in comparison - it drove really good. Spacious front, rearview camera, double side mirrors gave all the visibility needed for safe travels, and we had no issue navigating even narrower NZ roads. Interactive fron screen that allows you to connect your phone and mirror the screen also helped - that way both me and my wife could keep track of google maps and never missed a turn. Cruise control was a very nice bonus - helped a lot on those long journeys. And something we did not suspect but what became essential - internal heating powered by diesel instead of AC - even when not on powered set we were really warm, even when temperature outside dropped below zero (and it can happen on higher altitute even in Feb, which was a case for us). 10/10, if I ever re-visit New Zealand I'll check with Corrina first - when we finally got our initial campervan it was really dissapointing in comparison. And Corrina managed to set everything up on very short notice (same day!). I was not kidding in the beginning - it allowed us to enjoy last week of vacation rather than constantly looking for place to sleep instead of traveling through beoutiful landscape of southern island.

Herman was an absolute dream, much like Corinna and Clint. Communication was fabulous throughout, the van was absolutely perfect and clearly very loved by the owners. We felt this was the best van pretty much everywhere we camped - so easy to freedom camp in this perfect van. Cant recommend enough, if you want a van that will tick every box for a NZ road trip, this is the one!
