Hiring rules

• *EMERGENCY
• If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately.
• In case of an accident: get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 03 668 1211, then select option 4.
• *DAMAGE
• Any damage must be reported immediately. You will need to provide: who, what, where, and when.
• *RESTRICTIONS
• No offroad driving
• No beach driving
• No extended gravel roads
• No smoking inside
• No pets
• Unsealed roads must be preapproved in writing via Camplify Messages before your trip begins.
• Please review the Camplify exclusions, terms, and conditions before hire.
• *LONG TRIPS
• Hirers may travel up to 200 km per day, averaged over the hire period.
• Example: 5 days hire = 5 × 200 km = 1000 km included
• Additional kilometres are charged at $0.50 per km and deducted after hire.
• *FUEL
• Return the van full of petrol.
• All hires include a full tank at departure.
• *CLEANING
• If you don’t choose “clean the van for me”, please:
• Inside: clean fridge, vacuum mattress, floor, seats, windows, cutlery, pots, and pans. Wash the bedding at the laundry in Ranui (10 min from dropoff).
• Outside: remove bugs and insects from the front, clean mud, dust, and windows.
• No cooking in the living/bed area.
• *TRANSFERS & FERRIES
• If you need an airport transfer after dropoff, let us know in advance. Cost: $120.00

  Thanks to Lukas and his partner for sharing their van. Had a great short trip throughout the North Island. Pros: Van drives well, and the ride is comfortable. Carplay in the front if you have a USB cord. Spacious interior with room to store additional items. Fridge is a decent size and stays cold. Curtains keep the van private. Sink hose can be used as a simple outdoor shower and to rinse feet. Cons: Mattress on the bed doesn't fit very well, and was noted in the handover. Multiple lights weren't working, and a light fitting fell off repeatedly. Interior panels in the van aren't in the best condition. Fridge vibration and operating sound is extremely loud (if you don't have earplugs, good luck). It was recommended to turn the fridge off at night but given we had animal products that didn't seem advisable. Overall a decent van!

  Lukas was very easy to communicate with! and very understanding. I lost my phone while I was away and drove over a nail so we dropped the van off later than we said, and with no way of communicating that. He was very understanding! So grateful for that! We had a 3 year old with us and we very much loved staying in the van. Kept us comfortable while we were on our trip! Thanks again Lukas!
