Kiwi adVANture is the perfect way for a couple or best friends to explore beautiful New Zealand. It’s reliable, safe, comfortable, and kitted out with a modern, spacious layout. The convertible dining/bed setup makes it ideal for relaxing evenings or restful nights—ideal a New Zealand road trip, freedom camping, or an off-grid adventure. It has everything you need to make it your home on the road: -Plates, bowls, knives, forks, spoons, thermal coffee mugs, drinking cups (x2) -Fully functional sink -Cooking equipment (gas cooker, pot, pan, metal camping kettle, spatula, chopping board) -Pantry basics (tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper) -Basic cleaning equipment (brush and pan, cloth, surface cleaner, dishwashing liquid, drying cloth) -25-litre fresh water tank -25-litre grey water tank -Camp chairs (2) -Table that connects to the side of the kitchen cabinet inside -Bedding (mattress protector, fitted sheet, comforter, blanket, 2 pillows with pillowcases, and 2 towels. The bags that the bedding is stored in can also be used as laundry bags.) -10-litre portable toilet (stored in a bench that doubles as an ottoman or table) -Curtains on rear windows -Fully equipped for freedom camping: dual battery system powering the fridge, and USB charging ports for phones or drones (Please note: the inverter unit does not work, so the NZ plug socket does not function. Additional information: Pick up/drop off point is strong street St. Johns Auckland. We are also open to meet at a convenient location for an additional fee with the handover done on site. (E.g. Auckland airport is a popular drop off/pick up.) Kiwi adVANture is a certified self-contained campervan, which means you can legally enjoy freedom camping in many beautiful spots across New Zealand. This gives you the flexibility to stay off-grid and explore without relying on holiday parks.

Hiring rules

  • • No smoking inside the van.
  • • No cooking or bbq inside of the vehicle.
  • • No off road driving, beach driving or extended driving on gravel roads.
  • • No pets or animals.
  • • No festivals or concerts.
  • • Vehicle and all equipment (including toilet) must be returned clean or a cleaning fee will apply.
  • • Water tanks need to be emptied.
  • • Fuel tank will be full upon pickup and must be returned full.
  • • 200km maximum per day average over the hire term, a charge of $0.31 per km will be charged over and above that distance.
  • • Any damage needs to be reported immediately.
  • • Pull over immediately if any engine lights • Pull over immediately it any engine lights come on. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 0800 779 779, select option 4 for the direct line to the Roadside Assistance and please let us know too.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
