This van is perfect for you if you are travelling solo or 2-up. It is easy to drive, economical, easy to park and see out of. It is fully set up as a GREEN STICKER self-contained travelling companion. A great driving position and large windows allows you to see every vista, sunrise and sunset. It has a reversing mirror for safety as well as all the usual driving comforts - power steering, aircon, electric mirrors, windows and rear hatch. It has a sink, table, mattress, toilet, cooker, utensils, washing up equipment and some basic bedding/blanket.

You will need to pick your van up from the address supplied in your confirmation email. It is about 15km from the airport. There are a number of transport options to get here including bus, uber, shuttle or taxi. If you would like a pickup from the airport that can be arranged for a small fee. Please KEEP LEFT at all times on our roads. We know you will love the scenery but please pay attention to the road when driving. Pull over and let others pass or to take that photo. This is a 2WD road vehicle only - no off-road travel please. It is okay to drive on the many thousands of New Zealand's 'gravel' roads (unsealed) that form part of our roading network. If it is your first time driving on gravel please take extreme care. The surfaces can be uneven, the gravel slippery and they have no marked centre-line or verge markers and often have little or no safety systems such as median barriers. You will also likely encounter many one lane bridges - please give way if required.

Hiring rules

  • Strictly no smoking or vaping in or near any of our vans. An additional cleaning charge will apply for noncompliance.
  • Your vehicle will be handed over to you with a full tank of petrol. You must fill it up immediately prior to return.
  • Please contact us if you are under 25 years old and wish to hire the vehicle. Our current insurance does not cover under 25’s but we may be able to assist you with this.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
