Hiring rules

• Pick up is available only in Queenstown, but we're happy to deliver the van to a convenient location for you within the area to make things easier.
• • NO OFF ROAD
• • Must return van with a full tank on petrol
• • No smoking inside
• • ONLY South Island
• • Return the van clean and tidy (extra cleaning fee will apply if not)
• • Take all your rubbish with you
• • Use the toilet only when absolutely necessary!!! If used, please ensure it is emptied at a designated legal dump site.
• Failure to clean and empty the toilet upon return will result in a $300.00 fee.

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

  Amazing experience in Betty! She may be smaller than your average camper but this means it is super fuel efficient and can park anywhere for those freedom camp spots- a bonus for the South Island! We had everything we needed for our 2 week trip the whole way around the island and it really made such a difference having a super comfy bed and all the bedding we needed. Self contained as well is a must which Betty was and had the green sticker needed. Super easy pick up and drop off with Alan- definitely recommend booking Betty! Especially the best priced we found after lots of research- trust me, it makes such a difference going with a private camper than a massive company!
