Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    White lightning was brilliant! We spent 4 nights in the Fiordland national park, the van had everything we needed and was very easy to drive. With the provided hot water bottle we were cosy on the chilly nights and mornings. 10/10 would recommend!! Karl is very communicative also, easy pick up and drop off :)

    The van is quite old but nice. It drives smoothly on hills and any road. Always trust a Toyota;) even if the sound system is in Japanese, there is a usb Bluetooth radio that you can connect your mobile phone to listen any music you want on the road. The bed is comfy taking into the account that you are going to sleep in a van, a little small for a person of 1.85cm, but nothing that you can solve moving a little bit the front seats. I definitely enjoyed the trip around the island;)

    We took Karl's van to Milford Sound, Mount Cook and much between. It's smooth to drive! Van had comfortable bed and fit us both nicely.

Hi there! We are Kat and Karl. We've been lucky to explore New Zealand by our van and now since settling in Queenstown, we'd like to offer our van for other travellers to explore this amazing country the same way. We've had a lot of travel kindness passed onto us by others so we would like to pay that forward a bit by offering a more affordable van option than the big rental companies.
