Additional information

***** Please note: A negative review was left by a hirer during the peak Christmas period. The comments in that review do not accurately reflect the condition of this campervan, nor do they fairly represent my communication, support or involvement throughout the hire. The hirer encountered an issue caused by the electrical system being used outside the guidance provided verbally at pickup and in the onboard booklet, which resulted in a blown fuse. This was a simple fix, and I provided step-by-step instructions and photos on how to replace it straight away, but the fuse remained unchanged during the trip despite clear guidance. I spent more than multiple hours promptly communicating with the hirer over the Christmas period (despite being overseas with a 12-hour time difference and no mechanics or electricians available during the public holiday break) guiding him through the fuse replacement and clarifying other concerns, including that air-conditioning was not listed as an amenity. Given that level of involvement, the claim that communication was poor is neither accurate nor fair. The fault was fully resolved once the vehicle was returned. Camplify reviewed the situation in detail and declined the full refund the hirer requested, confirming that the camper remained safe, usable and fit for hire throughout the booking, and that all reasonable steps had been taken to resolve the issue given the circumstances — leading to this review. A return-and-refund for unused days was also offered at the time, but the hirer chose to continue travelling instead. This van has been used many times before and has since gone out to other hirers without issue. We’ve also refined instructions to make things even more user-friendly for guests new to campervans. If you have any questions or want to check whether this style of camper is right for your adventure, please feel free to get in touch, happy to help! 😊

Worst experience Ive ever had. I strongly advise against booking this vehicle. From the very first day, the vehicle had continuous issues and was not as advertised. Day 1: Water pump failure waited over an hour for it to be fixed. Day 2: Air conditioning was not working. Day 3: Water leakage from the pump. Day 4: I was forced to rearrange my bookings and return the vehicle again while someone attempted another repair. Day 5: Complete power shutdown. Day 6: I was asked to return the vehicle once more, but no repair arrangements were made, and I wasnt even informed properly until the following day. Due to these repeated issues, I lost a significant amount of time, money, and energy, and my entire trip was disrupted. The owner showed very little concern and even stated that he was unavailable when the issues occurred. From that point onward, I had no choice but to continue using the vehicle with all these unresolved problems until the end of the booking. Despite this, the owner later claimed that he had offered to fix the issues or take the vehicle backonly after all my plans and bookings were already in place, which felt intentional and unreasonable. This vehicle is completely unfit for camping, and based on my experience, I strongly recommend not booking it. The owner wasnt following the Camplify policies and completely rip off!!
