Hiring rules

• 1. Driving on gravel roads is allowed, but please drive slowly and take care as they can be very slippy and quite rugged. Off Road or Beach driving is NOT permitted
• 2. No smoking or vaping/ no pets.
• 3. No freecamping. This would be at your own risk and may incur a fine if caught
• 4. Any damage must be reported immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
• 5. Pull over immediately if any engine lights come on. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe and call Camp 03 668 1211 they will advise on how to contact roadside assistance. Then call me asap.
• 6. Van must come back cleared of any rubish. The van should also come back reasonably clean so it can be inspected for damage.
• 7. No cooking inside the van.

• Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

  Ben's campervan was great means of tranport in New Zealand. Comunication with Ben was clear, we met at the airport and he explained us all things related to operating vehicle and also provide some usefull tips driving in New Zealand. Car itself was clean and without any faults, driving this car was great. We also used in board navigation. Car provided lot of space for two persons with all accesories for camping like foldable chairs and table, cutlery, pan, pot and portable gas stove and fridge. We absolutely recomend Ben and his campervan.

  We had a great week in Bens van touring around the South Island. We found that it was the perfect amount of space for two people and the size of the van makes is so handy for driving and parking. Ben was fantastic to communicate with and we would definitely rent the Happy Camper again!
