We can purchase any grocery items in advance if needed and simply on-charge to you for your convenience. Our 2025 Jayco JRV Adventurer campervan, with a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) of 4,100kg, falls under New Zealand’s RUC band for diesel vehicles between 3,501kg and 6,000kg, requiring a Road User Charge (RUC) We’ve prepaid the RUC licence for your trip, so you don’t need to purchase one separately. Instead, renters are charged $0.09 per kilometre driven, as outlined in Camplify’s Booking Information, to cover this cost. We’ll record the odometer at pickup in Wellington and calculate the total upon return. Simply track your distance using the van’s trip meter, and we’ll handle the billing through Camplify or by cash. Hiring rules

• 200kms per day are free additional kms will be charged at 40 c/km
• This is a non smoking & vaping van.
• Please return the van with a full tank of diesel; otherwise, a refuelling fee of NZD 60 plus the cost of diesel will apply.
• Festivals require prior approval.
• Return the van clean or a cleaning fee of NZD 200. may apply.
• Report any damage immediately, providing details and a photo (who, what, where, when).
• Pull over if the engine warning lights come on or if you are involved in an accident. Call Camplify on 03 668 1211 and then contact us.
• Towing is not allowed unless specifically approved.

  I rented the van for 9 days to explore part of the South Island. The van is suitable for any route, whether on the road, in the mountains, or at campsites. Its perfect for the sometimes very narrow roads. It has plenty of power while still using little diesel. For Europeans, the diesel price here is very low, which is also a great bonus! Idefix looks super cool, which often catches the attention of other campers. In addition, it has fantastic full equipment inside. I could drive, shower, cook, keep food refrigerated, use the toilet, and sleep comfortably. I also enjoyed having wine in front of the camper or watching Netflix in the evening when the weather was bad. That was so cool! I loved everything about the camper and can highly recommend Idefix. It makes your trip exactly the way you imagined it would be.

  The van was fantastic. Very easy to drive (although it is a bit bigger but was easy to adjust to). The handover was great and every thing was very straight forward to follow. The van itself was very comfortable for my husband, myself and our dog. Would highly recommend and we will be booking again.

  Me and my partner had the perfect holiday in the Idefix van rented from Nina and Mic. Nina responded promptly before the trip with answers to any questions we had and even offered to advise us on our route around the north island. Mic handled the Van collection and took us through everything we needed to know about the van before we set off on our adventure. The van was faultless - it was pretty much brand-new and the drive-assists make it extremely easy to drive and park! The bed was very comfortable and the van included all the amenities we could need for our month travelling around New Zealand. We chose this van because its so spacious (we saw so many vans on the road where people couldnt even stand up inside!) and the smart-tv and built in WiFi meant we could cosy up in the evenings and watch lord of the rings. We recommend this van to any campers!
