Cancellations
Strict
- Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

Evan 5.0Excellent. The van is great. Perfect for two people who sleep in separate beds.
Jessica 5.0We had a great trip in Akina. We spent a month in the van, and it had everything we needed, was clean, and clearly well taken care of. We brought our mountain bikes on this trip and Akina had a bike rack that worked for our bikes. Stepan was great to work with, and went above and beyond simply loaning us his van. He picked us up from the airport at the start of our trip and dropped us off at the airport at the end of our trip. He allowed us to assemble our bikes and stow our bike bags in his garage, and he was great at responding to messages if we had any questions. Our only two notes about the van were that the bed is not the most comfortable, and it is difficult to drive in windy conditions. Aside from those two small complaints we had a wonderful time using Akina to travel and explore all over New Zealand, and we would definitely rent a van from Stepan again in the future.
