Fully equipped for outdoor living, Roa includes a pull-out awning to keep the sun off while you enjoy cooking, dining, and relaxing in the fresh air – because what’s vanlife without a little al fresco magic? We’ve made sure you have everything you need for comfort and convenience on the road. There’s a toilet on board, plus a portable gas cooker that can be used either indoors or outdoors depending on the weather. You’ll also find all your basic cooking utensils and dinnerware provided, along with a table and chairs for laid-back alfresco dining under the stars. Our camper is completely off-grid, meaning you’re free to roam without relying on campgrounds. Enjoy the freedom of freedom camping in some of NZ’s most beautiful and remote locations. No power hookups, no shared bathrooms – just you, the van, and the land. Need a digital detox? Hiring rules

  • No smoking inside van
  • Fuel return filled with unleaded 91 All hires include a full tank of gas on departure
  • Awning must be packed away if bad weather arises
  • Vehicle must be returned clean or you will risk an additional cleaning fee
  • Any damage must be reported immediately who, what, where and when will be required
  • Pull over immediately if check engine light comes on. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe and call Camplify on 03 668 1211 they will advise how to call for assistance and then call me!
  • Toilet must be empty and cleaned before return or you will incur a $100.00 additional cleaning fee.
  • Both Fresh water and Grey water tanks must also be empty and cleaned before returning Roa or you will incur an additional cleaning fee of $100.00
  • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Roa was absolutely perfect. From the outside she looks cool and rustic, but the inside is done amazingly, so cosy at night time with a great light, heaps of storage and a system that just works. Cooker, table, chairs all easy and quick to put up and away. The awning is there if you need a bit of respite from the blazing sun or from a little drizzle of rain. Vanessa and Mike were brilliant hosts and you can tell they have made a real effort to give their customers a great experience. If Im ever back in New Zealand for a road trip I will be booking Roa.
