These high-quality shades do more than just block sunlight — they provide thermal insulation in winter, keeping the warmth inside, and help keep things cool in summer. 🔋 Power & Self-Sufficiency: Lembas is equipped with an EcoFlow RIVER 2 Pro portable power station (800W / 768Wh), charged by 2x100W solar panels or via a mains socket (16A campground inlet). It powers the fridge/freezer, roof fan, lighting, power outlet, and USB ports. For off-grid stays, conserve power by managing high-draw devices and topping up when needed. 🌬 Ventilation & Comfort: The roof-mounted low-noise ventilation fan is a game-changer, it keeps the van cool and fresh without needing to open windows or doors. Ideal for privacy, airflow at night, or stealth camping in cities. 🚰 Water & Sink System: Lembas features an electric faucet — just tap the switch for running water from the fresh tank. 🏕 Outdoor Living Space: The 2.5x2.5m awning with side walls creates an enclosed, weather-protected outdoor zone — great for relaxing, cooking, or hiding from rain or sun. 🌂 The awning must be packed away before strong winds and/or bad weather arises, or anytime you're driving to ensure your safety and avoid any damage. 🍴 Cooking & Dining: You’ll find a camping table and chairs, cookware, utensils, and a 22L fridge/freezer for your food. 🏄🏻‍♂️ Paddleboards Available: Optional add-on — 2x stand-up paddleboards available for $10.00/day each. Watch for height limits, take corners a little wider than usual, and slow down extra for speed bumps to keep everything smooth and secure inside. 🚫 No ski field access/off-road/beach driving/unsealed roads. ⬇️ What to Bring: We’ve stocked Lembas with the essentials — just bring your clothes, food, and sense of adventure 🔄 Returning Policy: To ensure a smooth handover and keep Lembas in great condition, please follow these simple return guidelines: 1- Interior: Remove all rubbish and leave the inside tidy. No deep cleaning needed. 2- Equipment: Return all items clean, dry, and in their original place. 3- Exterior: ‼️ DO NOT USE AUTOMATIC CAR WASH STATIONS ‼️— they can damage the solar panels, roof vent, electrical inlet, and awning. ‼️ If lightly dusty, leave it. If very dirty or muddy, please use a self-service hand wash only. 4- Water tanks: No need to empty fresh or grey water. 5- Fuel: Return the van with a full tank of diesel as you will pick up with a full tank. If you’re unsure about anything, we’re just a message away. We want your journey with Lembas to be easy, comfortable, and unforgettable.

  This van build is well thought out and has everything you need for a great camping trip. The solar setup is very reliable, and the awning makes a nice outdoor space. We would definetly hire again and recommend to anyone who wants a stress-free holiday. Thankyou Aslan.

  LEMBAS was everything we wanted for our road trip around the North island. My husband and I wanted a van that was just the right size, something that was easy enough to drive and didn't feel like a bus, but spacious enough where we didn't feel crammed- Lembas is just that. Aslan was super communicative before we met up answering all of my questions. During the handover, Aslan explained everything we needed to know thoroughly, and we felt confident in using all of the features the van had to offer. The power bank was great, modern + top of the line equipment that kept all of our devices charged and drinks/food cold in the fridge. The bed set up was very easy- with the two of us it only took a few minutes to set up + put away. Super well thought out use of space to every tiny detail. The van itself ran great with good gas mileage. Overall, wonderful experience & we will most definitely be renting from Aslan again when we make it back to Aotearoa!

  We had an amazing three weeks in Lembas! We were in NZ during the first beautiful weeks of spring in October, exploring Middle-earth. The van drives very smoothly. Aslan answered all our questions before booking and provided a fantastic service, even when the fridge and the water faucet decided they were due for maintenance during our trip. The roof fan is very nice, especially when you don't want any windows to be open at night. You can easily sleep with the soft, continuous white noise sound (and I am usually very sensitive for sound whilst falling asleep). The windowshades are really helpful as shades, but also to keep the cold out. We never needed to charge the power station via the grid, even on the more rainy days, and we could charge our phones, tablet, LED-lamps and even our SteamDeck. With the battery app the usage of the battery was even easier. Sadly we didn't use the awning because of our own planning, wind and/or rain, but it's a great addition to have as well. We added a camping whistling kettle, thermos flask and floor brush to the basic equipment of the van. Safe to say we were a bit sad we had to give 'our' lovely Lembas back!

  LEMBAS was an awesome first experience with Camplify, the van ran well and there was enough room for two of us to just hang out. I managed to get some work done during the day (parked on top of Ruapehu) and with the thermal window covers the van retained heat in during the harsh winter nights.
