Hiring rules

• General Conduct
• No smoking, vaping, or illegal drugs in or near the vehicle at any time.
• Pets may be considered — please message to discuss and we can explore an arrangement.
• Driver Requirements
• The hirer/driver must be 25 years or older, unless otherwise discussed in advance and covered under the insurance premium we provide.
• Road Use
• No unsealed roads. The vehicle must remain on sealed roads only.
• Kilometre Allowance
• Hirers are welcome to travel up to 200 km per day, averaged over the total hire period.
• Example: 4day hire × 200 km = 800 km included in the rate.
• Additional kilometres are charged at $0.50 per km and will be deducted at the completion of the hire.
• Cleaning & Return Condition
• The vehicle must be returned in the same clean condition as at handover. Please ensure:
• All rubbish is removed
• Fridge is emptied
• Benches are wiped down
• Dishes are washed, dried, and put away
• Floors are swept
• The portable toilet is emptied and cleaned
• Failure to return the vehicle clean will incur an excess cleaning fee of $150.00.
• Fuel & Water
• Return the vehicle with the fuel tank full – all hires include a full tank upon departure.
• Return with the wastewater tank empty.
• You do not need to worry about refilling the fresh water tank.
• Linen & Guests
• Linen is an optional extra.
• Please advise how many guests—and their ages—if you require linen.
• PickUp & DropOff
• Pickup and dropoff are generally at similar times; however, we can be flexible with prior arrangement.
• Before DropOff
• Remove all personal belongings.
• Ensure any remaining rubbish is disposed of.

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

  Renting Moe, the campervan, was absolutely the right decision. The van is easy to drive and perfect for New Zealand's roads. Tom, the owner of Moe, is a friendly and helpful landlord who explains everything about the van in detail. I highly recommend Moe!

  Moe isnt the newest or fastest gal on the block but shes a beast! She took us all over the Northland. Her character will make you the coolest van on the block. Comes with all the necessities. Shes a great size for those that dont want the hassle of a larger RV. And, tbh we got great fuel economy with her, too. Dont think, book!
