Meet Pegasus, it's a 2010 Toyota Hiace Regius campervan that loves roadtrips. Pegasus is a self-contained 2-berth campervan based in Queenstown — compact, easy to drive, and fully equipped with a comfy double bed, kitchen, and smart storage. Perfect for couples or solo travellers wanting a budget-friendly way to explore NZ in comfort and freedom. Features: -AC: keeps you nice on cool on those long road trips -Automatic gearbox -Standing up capability (1.9M), -Easy to park in any normal space with it's length size (also has reversing camera). -40L fresh and grey water tanks -Fridge -2 ring gas stovetop, -Good sized sink with hot water -Dual 12v battery system with solar panel -USB charging ports -240v mains campground hookup -Comfy double bed, (1.4x1.9M) -Outside camping table and 2 chairs included + picnic blanket -All cooking instruments, utensils, basic seasonings/oil, knives (sharp), pots/pans..etc included -Lots of storage, self-contained green certificate, and all around clean and tidy condition. Pick up in Frankton or airport pick-up/drop-off can be arranged for extra cost. If you have any questions, feel free to send them through when you making your booking request.

  • Also please no driving over Crown Range. (Queenstown to Wanaka). Use the 30min longer way through Cromwell.
  • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    A great little van which is easy to drive and park. The bed is the most comfortable I have experienced in a campervan and you can stretch out full length. There is limited 'living space' but the extra headroom makes up for it. Karl and Kat were super lovely. Would absolutely rent again!

    Just fantastic, very well equipped and pristine clean vehicle, suitable for a couple or a couple of+ 1 young child. Communication with Karl was nice and easy, very responsive! Highly recommended!

    Our holiday was fantastic, Pegasus got us around the whole South Island with no worries at all. The van is also equiped with everything youll need! Karl and Kat were very helpful and fast responding. Would definitely recommend.

    Karl was awesome to deal with,super easy and great communication the whole way through. The van was really clean, comfy, and had absolutely everything we needed for the trip. It was perfect for our getaway!

Hi there! We are Kat and Karl. We've been lucky to explore New Zealand by our van and now since settling in Queenstown, we'd like to offer our van for other travellers to explore this amazing country the same way. We've had a lot of travel kindness passed onto us by others so we would like to pay that forward a bit by offering a more affordable van option than the big rental companies. While we still need to pay our bills, we try our best to make the rental experience stress free and genuine. Feel free to message us with any requests and we can probably make something work.
