We offer convenient airport transfers for $70 each way ($140 for pick up and drop off) saving you time and taxi costs, and getting you on the road faster. To note, we would pick you up and transfer you to the vans base location and for drop off transfer you from vans base location to airport. 🧼 Service Fee We charge a standard service fee to ensure the vehicle is cleaned, sanitised, and fully prepped before every trip. This helps us maintain high-quality standards and provide a smooth handover experience for your journey. 📍 Pick-up Location We're based in Queenstown, just 10 minutes from the airport and 15min from town centre in Lower Shotover. Flexible pick-up and drop-off times available upon request. We offer collection from the evening before your booking start date (after 4:30pm) from Kowhai's base location. This camper is easy to drive and perfect for couples or solo travellers wanting a simple, comfortable, and affordable way to explore. Whether you’re heading to the mountains or the coast, you’ll have everything you need on board.

Hiring rules

  • To help keep our camper clean, comfortable, and running smoothly for all guests, this vehicle is not suitable for:
  • ❌ Drivers under 21 years of age
  • ❌ 4x4 driving — the van is not built for rugged or unsealed terrain. Happy to discuss some unsealed roads across NZ
  • ❌ Smokers — this is a strictly smokefree vehicle (inside and around the van)
  • ❌ Pets — we love animals, but this van is kept petfree for cleanliness and allergies
  • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Great HiAce campervan and an easy experience overall. The van was clean, well maintained, and exactly as described. It was comfortable to drive and had everything we needed for the trip. Dan & Mikayla were great to deal with - friendly, responsive, and made pickup and drop-off very straightforward. Would happily book again.

    Absolutely amazing. We were in the van for about a week and it did everything we wanted/needed. Super functional, cooked our meals, charged devices and slept comfortably. Dan and Mikayla had nice home-y touches inside as well as answering any questions and making sure we had all the supplies necessary. Would recommend this to anyone for their holiday. Thank you!

    We had a fantastic time using the van provided by Dan and Mikayla. The communication and the handover was amazing and we could not have asked for anything better. Highly recommend this van and would use it again next time we are back in Queenstown

    Great van, has everything you need. I traveled for two weeks with no problems. The bed is easy to set up and comfortable. Dan and Mikayla were great, good communication and lovely people
