UNLIMITED KMs drive as far as you want, no extra fees! A capable camper with a decent size bed and basic kitchen. Comes with full bedding, two camp chairs and table, cooker, pots, pans, plates, cutlery etc. small chilly bin and collapsible dishes tub. Plenty of storage under the bed. Note: this van is not self contained certified ( no freedom camping) We recommend looking into DOC camp sites, they are cheap and in some amazing locations. Additional information

Please note: this van is located in Blenheim, the airport drop off is for Blenheim and Picton airports. With prior arrangements we could pick you up from the Picton ferry terminal only will incur a service fee if under 20 day hire depending on the service. Important notice: pick up/ drop off for weekdays are 7-8am and 4-8pm, unless otherwise agreed, please allow ample time for pick up to run through the van induction. As this is a manual gearbox if the driver is not experienced in driving manual then we will not hire out the van to you, Any questions don’t hesitate to ask! Enjoy your trip 👍🏼

Pricing

Hire Fee: From $95.00 per day
Service fee: $10.00

Cancellations

Flexible

Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

We hand an amazing time with this van! And Jason and his wife were incredibly nice and accomodating. As it the vehicle is not self sustained, it's a little trickier to find a spot to stay, but we managed it very well in the end :) Would recommend!

It is nice little van to drive, for me easy as I am experienced with clutch and gears. Everything to start camping. Bed is ok. Jason is a super relaxed helpful guy.

If you are looking for a cheap and basic Campervan, this is a good option. Jason is very reliable and answers strait back and also help you if you have any questions about planing the trip and will make sure that you feel all right with the Campervan. Can absolutely recommend.

Rocky was an absolute dream, I hired Rocky for 10 days and he has everything you might need. All kitchen stuff included, camping hob, camping table and chairs, water, toilet, a washing line, a fridge, a BBQ, even a hammock to top it off. You can also connect your music through the stereo via Bluetooth. Being a lone traveller, i felt really safe in Rocky, I made the bed into a single and kept it up at all times which worked great for me. Jasons communication was really good, and he offered to drop me at the train station afterwards. The only thing I would suggest to Jason is I think the Upholstery in the back needs a little update. But other than that it was Ive had some of the best memories in Rocky and will hire again if I get the chance. I love these vehicles, they are so fun and easy to explore New Zealand in. I highly recommend!! Thanks Rocky!!!
