SERVICE FEE - Service fee includes linen, cleaning of the van, any toll roads you go through and all the bits and pieces you'll need when camping such as dish soap, kitchen spray, salt, pepper, (some) gas canisters for gas cooker. LINEN - Yes we provide linen! Corby comes with a mattress protector, bottom fitted sheet, duvet, two pillows and two towels. We have a couple of extra small pillows, a spare blanket and spare towels not in the van but if you think you need them just let us know via messages INSULATION - Corby is insulated so it is possible to use him in winter and still stay warm overnight! Unfortunately the heater cannot be run while Corby is off but rest assured you won't need a heater as Corby maintains his heat well! Worried it'll be too hot over summer? There are small windows you can open to let in fresh air. USB PORTS - Many USB ports located throughout the van making sure you can charge your phone whenever you need (No USC ports available within van) DRIVING - Automatic van easy to drive with reserve camera and hands free phone holder POWER - Powered by dual 12V batteries and solar panels meaning you can stay off the grid for days even without driving. Corby has no external power source. POWER PLUGS - There are two power sockets in Corby. Corby has an inverter so you may plug in things that are low voltage such as laptops or hair straighteners. FIXED TOILET - Up to standards with the latest "self contained" rules meaning there is a fixed toilet within the van and has a green self contained sticker so you can freedom camp (where allowed in NZ) FRIDGE - Corby is kitted out with a brassmonkey fridge. The solar panels provide the fridge with enough power to stay on your entire trip meaning you can keep you refrigerated goods nice and fresh! KM ALLOWANCE - We offer unlimited KMs on your hire of Corby STORAGE - Plenty of storage throughout the van but we recommend not taking a large roller suitcase as the van is not appropriate for storing these. We are happy to store your luggage for free if you want to take smaller bags on your trip. Just let us know when booking. COLLECTING CORBY - Pick up of Corby is from Glenfield, Auckland. This is about a 40 minute drive/taxi from the international airport and about 20 minutes from the CBD. Please don't assume we can do an airport drop off/pick up but feel free to ask and we will try our best to be accomodating for an extra fee.

  I had an amazing time traveling with Corby the camper as my home for a week! As someone with little experience, I found it incredibly easy to use. It was spotless, beautifully designed, and well-insulated, which made a huge differenceespecially since I was worried about the cold, coming from Vanuatu. So many people commented on how pretty and tidy Corby wasthey had never seen a hire camper like it! It also had everything I needed, right down to the pegs. Keely was fantastic to communicate withalways quick to respond and very helpful. Ill definitely be hiring Corby again on my next trip to New Zealand!
