My partner and I had a great experience visiting the Catlins. Richard was a great communicator, and the van was perfect for our trip. Very comfy & tidy, plus it had all the things we needed. I can highly recommend taking this van out for an adventure!

We just had an amazing trip with Richard's Arawhata! All the communication and handover with him went smoothly. The van itself is very well put together and taken care of, with everything we needed for our roundtrip in the South Island. Being quite tall myself, I experienced the van to be spacious enough, certainly the bed let me stretch all out! Without it being too big to drive around, certainly for certain campsites and parking lots. It drove very comfortable, as Totoya's do. Also the solar panel was super handy to have! Can highly recommend!

We had a great time with Wilkin. Has everything you need and feels spacious. The solar panel provides more than enough energy to power up your devices. Wilkin drives really well and has good fuel efficiency.

Great van. Great communication from Richard and Joachim. A couple hiccups (battery died on pickup and diesel heater failed half way through trip) but we believe no one was at fault - sometimes these things happen. Richard had great communication and rectified issue. If youre tall (Im 61) you may have to sleep diagonal or curled up, no issue for short period of time. Overall would recommended and would book again!

Layout of the van is awesome, very well designed. Needs some TLC/ there are a few things to take care of. The tires are the most worn out tires I have ever seen. It poured on us the first day and we hydroplaned several times. It is dangerous how worn the tires are. Car keys were dead and did not really work. We also received the van and they assured us it was filled with water. We drove to mount cook with no services around us and ran out of water on day one. Richard did not deliver us the van but his friend did, and his friend did not show us how to fill up water so that took a bit to figure out how to do everything. Not super clean inside either, really needs to be cleaned thoroughly inside and outside. They advertise a back up camera but it is a plug in small screen. You have to pull it out every time you reverse, it is not mounted. It is hard to utilize No blue tooth or apple play, they just gave us a speaker which unfortunately was dead with no charger

Highly recommend! Hiring from Richard was a breeze, the van has everything you need and was super comfortable and is great to drive. We hired Wilkin for 18 days around the South Island. Richard was super helpful and communicative, whether it was questions we had about the van or travel tips. Pickup and drop-off was super easy. The van is extremely well laid out, with plenty of storage and pretty much everything you need, incl. a couple of camping chairs, a table, etc. (really the only thing missing was a French press - but we donated one so you can enjoy). It's also a lot more cosy and personal feeling than most of the other big camper van companies we saw in our travels, which was quite nice. Overall the experience was great, and having this van absolutely made our trip. Thanks Richard!
