  Really appreciated how kind and helpful Alf was throughout the rental, as well as making the extra effort to pick up and drop us off at the airport. The van is a simple setup, which could work well for short trips or those who prefer a minimal style of travel. There were a few aspects, like the tap system, that might benefit from some upgrades, but overall a straightforward experience with a lovely host.

  We had the best time doing a road trip with Vanessa! The interior is really well designed, it uses the space really efficiently with good storage options whilst being warm and cosy. It comes with all the essentials you need, we were travelling light and didn't need to purchase anything for a 17 day trip. We had no issues with the van at all. Ollie and Rach were also super helpful and chilled which made the whole experience really pleasant and would highly recommend it to anyone!

  I had a great trip with Paulette- easy to drive, absolutely everything you could need, a super comfy bed and so much character! Matthew was great and made the handovers very smooth and gave me some great local recommendations as well :) Id happily rent this van again!

  Our experience with Vantail was absolutely fantastic! So many amenities were provided that just went above and beyond what we expected (coffee, tea, free gas canisters for the stove, camping chairs and table free of charge!). It helped also that the car was a hybrid, especially now with the petrol prices skyrocketing. Frik was also very responsive whenever there was anything we wanted ask about the van. We would 100% hire again when we get the chance!

  Paul and Gill are great people to deal with, good attention to detail , made the van very comfortable and homely, bed was very comfortable, accommodating to pickup and drop off , very easy to drive, drives like a car , would definitely hire again if we come back to NZ. Cheers Julian and Deirdre

  Would do it again in a heartbeat! Cassie was clean and equipped with everything I needed for a seamless journey. Pick up and drop off were both very easy.

  We had two great weeks of adventure and travelling in New Zealand with our family. The van is as described and rides flawlessly. For us the spacious bunk beds in the back worked really well with our kids. Rodney was very accommodating and provided us with good information on the campervan and other practicalities. Recommended hire

  Emma is a fantastic host, easy to deal with and good communication. Luna is the perfect caravan for 2 people with good amenities and very clean and tidy. It had everything we needed the the informationguide was very helpful. It has solar so can charge phones etc off grid. Fridge and hot water runs off gas or 240v. Shower was great. Bed is very comfortable. We would definitely hire again and highly recommend.

  Amazing people to deal with and very thorough during the handover. The caravan was excellent to tow and comfortable to live in over the two weeks.

  This was our first caravan trip and we couldnt have enjoyed it more. We have had few motorhome/campervan experiences before but felt caravan to be more spacious for our family of 5(2 adults and 3 kids), washroom was very spacious too which is generally quite hard to find. caravan was exactly as stated, Edward was great to communicate and vey easy to deal with . we paid only for 5 days but got another extra day as Ed was felxible with both pick up and drop off times. We had actually picked up the night before our departure and also dropped the caravan late evening as Ed was flexible with the timing. Thanks Ed for making our trip a memorable one. Highly recommend.Will definitely book this beauty again in the future.

  I had a fabulous time in Dominik! A bit of an older van with so much character. Drove great, had everything you need, frank Angie were absolutely lovely and super helpful! Highly recommend

  My wife and I spent the best part of nine days in the McLeisure van for Maadi Cup, and it was our first trip away with just the two of us since backpacking through Central America 26 years ago. We absolutely loved itand we loved the van. The setup was cosy and warm, with an extra mink blanket provided and even fairy lights around the bed, which added a really nice touch of ambience. The fridge was a standout, keeping both the beers nicely cold and our food supplies fresh. Cooking outside was a highlight, with morning coffees made in the Bialetti and a collapsible jug that packed down flatgenius. Everything was thoughtfully supplied, from all the cutlery you could need to a seriously sharp knife, picnic table and chairs. Most days we drove right by the lake to watch the rowing, enjoying coffee, breakfast, and lunch there, followed by cold beers and G&Ts in the afternoonperfect. George was an absolute pleasure to deal with, and well definitely be doing this again soon.

  We had an absolutely fantastic experience hiring David and Monicas campervan. From start to finish, they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and easy to deal with. They kindly picked us up from the airport and dropped us back at the end, which made everything so seamless. The handover was very clear and thorough, so we felt confident and ready to go straight away. Throughout our trip, they checked in to make sure everything was going well, which we really appreciated. The campervan itself was outstanding spacious, immaculate, and clearly very well cared for. It truly felt like a 5-star campervan experience. We couldnt recommend David and Monica more highly and would absolutely rent from them again in a heartbeat!
