-Queen sized bed with high quality mattress . -certified self contained for freedom camping spots -All linen can be provided, includes: bedding, tea towels, towels, face cloths. -Full kitchen with two burner gas hob, oven grill, fridge/freezer, -Wood stove - firewood provided. -Kitchen stocked with salt, pepper, spices, tea, coffee and cooking oil. -Kitchen is equipped with cups, plates, bowls, pots, pans, cutlery. -Full Sized sink with running hot and cold water -120L Fresh and Grey water tanks. -Gas califont shower -Flushing casette toilet. -USB charging ports and lighting - powered by Solar. -Large amount of storage throughout the bus. -Manual transmission. Diesel vehicles in New Zealand are required to pay Diesel Kilometres. However, as a result Diesel is cheaper at the pump than Petrol resulting in diesel and petrol vehicles costing the same to run. The cost for diesel kilometres will be passed onto the hirer as described in the booking process.

Hiring rules

• If any damage occurs please report immediately to Camplify.
• Vehicle will have a full tank of diesel when picked up, tank to be full upon returning. If not returned with a full tank, the full cost of filling the tank plus $40.00 service fee will be passed on to customer.
• if an emergency or accident occurs, if possible get vehicle to a safe space off the road, contact emergency services if required (dial 111 for fire, police, ambulance) and contact Camplify on 0800779779
• No smoking or vaping inside vehicle
• Vehicle will be clean and tidy when picked up and is expected to be returned this way. Grey water and toilet emptied, fridge empty, all rubbish removed, dishes washed and put away as well as any other mess cleaned up. Failure to do so will result in a $150.00 clean fee.
• Pickup and drop off will be arranged around individual customers. Airport drop off are available on request.
• In the case of a flat battery, flat tire or mechanical issues contact Camplify and assistance will be arranged, do not try to fix problems yourself.
• Road user charges charged at a rate of $0.09 per km traveled. This total will be added up upon completion of hire and charged to hirer upon drop off.
• Driving on unsealed roads must be preapproved in writing (in Camplify Messages) before the trip begins.
• Vehicle is for use within the South Island only.
• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.
• maximum of 200km driving per day of hire. Any KM over this total will be charged at $0.30 per km to be paid upon drop off.

• Hirer must be 22 years of age or older.

  Rus was a great camper for our 9 day tour of the South island. Lots of space for the two of us with a comfy bed and everything you need to be off the grid. Tim did a great job setting us up and was quick to communicate back when we had questions and wanted to extend our trip. He even raced back to the airport to get us our jackets back after we left them in his car. Thanks Tim! We love Rus!!

  Had an awesome 12 days traveling the South Island in Rus I wanted to take him home with me. Wasnt a single night we had wished we had just booked a hotel room he was just pure comfort. Great bench space for cooking, plenty drawer space for clothes and shopping everything you could need was supplied. The fireplace came in very handy for those nights the temperature went into the minuss. Tim was excellent giving us a run down of everything we needed to know about Rus before we left on our adventure and the airport pick up and drop off made everything so easy. If we come back again we will definitely book Rus again!

  The really comfy, warm bed and toasty log burner made Rus the perfect choice for our Autumn trip. Easy to drive and equipped with everything needed to be self-sufficient meant we could explore all the way up to Milford Sound. This rustic bus is delightful and perfect for getting back to basics in, and host Tim made the whole experience so easy and memorable. Many thanks

  Rus was awesome! My partner didn't want to give him back, he had that much fun! All communication we had with Tim was fantastic! Very in tune with his guests and had a wonderful time.
