This is a diesel vehicle and this fuel costs less than petrol in NZ, and a separate levy is charged per kilometer. This is called Road User Charges (RUC). This cost 0.09 cents per km. Therefore 100 kms cost $9.00 You will reimburse the owner at the end of the trip in cash for the RUC used. This is a normal requirement of most of the diesel campers on Camplify.

  This is an older van but it performs well. Safe and easy to drive with dual rear wheels and the six speed gearbox allows for good fuel economy. The solar panels and battery bank are well matched and there are large onboard freshwater and greywater tanks making off grid camping a breeze. Melanie was very helpful and promptly replied to messages and questions making the pick up and drop off process easy.

  Melanie was very flexible with the pick up and drop off situation, the van was a bit old and tired. It just needs a bit of maintenance and it would be fine. It got us to where we wanted to go with out breaking down

  Had a sensational trip using Simons van. The van is fully kitted out and able to handle all that NZs offers. Simon was a breeze to deal with and made the whole process very easy and straightforward. Fitted 4 people easily, kitchen and bathroom facilities all worked really well. Really had no dramas, would highly recommend.

  We stayed in the camper for a few nights at a wedding. It was perfect!

  Simon was great to deal with and pointed out everything the camper had to offer. It was my first time in a camper so i was not used to living in one. I really liked the space and the gas cooker but did not get on well with the shower (just a me thing). It drove very well and was easy to set up. I did bring along my Bluetooth speaker as there was only a monitor available. Simon tells me he is revamping the interior so it should be very nice inside for the next people. I would definitely recommend Simon's camper.
