Joy is a 4-berth self-contained motorhome with 4 comfortable seats. The automatic transmission makes her very easy to drive for anyone with a full NZ car licence. The fully equiped kitchen includes a 12v fridge gas hob and grill with ample bench and storage space. She is self contained with a large rear lounge, good storage, shower & toilet. The rear lounge can be converted into a Queen size bed or be used as two singles. There is twin single or queen bed over the cab making her the perfect camper for family or couple.

To assist Alister and Margaret ensure you have a wonderful experience with Joy we would appreciate knowing a bit about your plans. 1. Can you please provide a general idea of where you would like to explore with Joy? 2. Do you have a full NZ Drivers licence or what licence do you intend driving Joy on? 3. Joy is 7.2m long 2.4m wide and 3.3m high. What experience have you had driving larger vehicles? 4 Will you need airport pick up? Please complete all corrospondence through the Camplify interface.
Hiring rules
- 1. no need to refill the gas cylinder on return, we will absorb this cost in the service fee. If you do need to fill the gas, please keep a receipt and we will reimburse you.
- 2. Joy is not to travel on unsealed roads, beaches, The Crown Range, Skippers or roads not recommended for mobile homes.
- 3. New Zealand weather is sometime changeable and hazardous. High winds, severe weather and Icey roads can affect your travel. It is expected during periods where NZ police, NZTA or Road Controlling Authorities have issued road warning, you will find a safe resting place for Joy and wait until the conditions have passed. - 4. Joy runs on diesel only. All hires include a full tank upon departure.You will need to return the motorhome filled with diesel (unless alternative arrangements are made). Filling her with other fuels will cause delays and you will be responsible for any costs incurred.
- 5. Please honour the next couple or family, Joy journeys with, by keeping waste water and freshwater equipment separate. The blue bin in the rear locker (drivers’ side) has all the wastewater equipment including hand sanitiser and disposable gloves for your protection. Do not use the short wastewater hose or the wastewater hose at the dump station for filling the drinking water tank.
- There is a fresh water hose located in the locker under the drivers seat that is suitable for filling your potable water.
- 6. Kilometre (km) Limit included in the booking price is 200kms per day. You will be charged $0.30 per km for additional distance travelled over this allowance.
- 7. Road User Chargers apply for this vehicle. This will be calculated and charged at the end of your trip at the rate of $0.09 per km driven.
- 8. The hirer will be required to pay any chargers for Road Tolls that they encounter during their trip. The hirer will be required to pay any traffic infringements or parking tickets.
- 9. Please be aware that Camplify require a deposit within 3 days of the booking being accepted, otherwise they will cancel the booking.
- Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations
Flexible
- Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

About the owner
Margaret and I are married with 5 children, 15 grandchildren and Joy our mobile home. We love spending time with family and Joy loves being part of the big family too. Alister has worked as a road and drainage engineer for local government and Margaret loves her craft and creative activities. We love being grandparents and being part of our local Vineyard church.
