My 4 berth motorhome is yours to enjoy to travel our beautiful country. Located in Christchurch in the South Island of NZ, this is an ideal place to start your trip. The vehicle is comfortable, has an automatic transmission, which makes it an easy drive, and can be driven on a car license. There is excellent driver vision to the left side, as there is no cabinetry obstructing the view. (This is a common problem in many other designs) This makes for great all round driver vision. The Mercedes Benz diesel engine is a very economical unit which only uses around 13 litres of diesel per 100km! Diesel is by far the most economic fuel option compared to petrol vehicles. It has plenty of power and is a dream to drive with the 5 speed auto transmission. It had a complete brand new engine fitted in 2021 and is super reliable and mechanically well maintained. It is equipped with two large solar panels (300w) and a MPPT regulator supplying a large Lithium House Battery, which ensures enough power to be self sufficient whithout the need to plug in to mains power. This means you can comfortably stay at non-powered campsites. Suitable for a couple who are after a bigger vehicle for more comfort and space, or perfect for a family of up to four, or for two couples, as it sleeps up to four people in two king size beds. The two front seats swivel to face backwards and there are two reclining bucket seats behind the driver, which are a very safe and comfortable setup for the other two passengers and allow the rear passengers great comfort and good vision of the sights that many other models fall short on. These seats are a very safe option for use with child safety seats, as they are bucket style that aid in stopping sideways movement of the child seats. There are child seat anchor points on both seats. The vehicle is fully self-contained and includes a toilet and shower with hot and cold water. The kitchen is equipped with all the basic living equipment for a home away from home. It has a gas hob, oven grill, fridge/freezer and all the tableware, pots and utensils to cook yourself a delicious home-cooked meal.
