This is the ideal caravan for a bigger family, or for those couples that enjoy the luxury of more space. At the rear of the caravan you have the option of either two sets of doubles bunks, two couches with a folding table, or a king size bed. This area can be screened off, important for Mum and Dad to have some quiet time after a day of adventures. The separate shower and toilet provide privacy, and the outdoor shower is golden for getting the dirt and sand off after a day of fun. There is a full kitchen with elements (3 gas 1 electric), grill, oven, room heater, fridge and freezer box plus pots pans and dinnerware. The front of the caravan is a lounge/dining area during the day complete with couches and a fold up table, at night this converts to a king size bed. With fly screens, blackout blinds and double glazing there are no excuses for not getting a good night's sleep. Solar panels, plus water tanks allow for full self-containment (certified) and the opportunity to really explore Aotearoa. Tried and tested by ourselves with 17 month old twins, a 5 year old and a 7 year old we can say hand on heart that it is perfect. Give us a call to see how we can help you have a fantastic holiday.

Additional information

Please allow 60 mins for a full handover before you can take the caravan. For toddlers we can supply a sleeping bag which is attached to the mattress, this will keep your little one where they need to be without needing a portacot. Caravan is fully setup for freedom camping, certified for 6 people, with 380w of solar power, 90L of portable freshwater tanks, and 95L for grey water. Bottom sheets for each of the beds including waterproof's for kids beds are included in the booking There is a 4m Thule Bag Awning (4m long x 2.5m wide, roof only) available for an additional charge of $75.00 per booking. Please advise within your booking request if you would like to add this to your booking. Pick up and drop off time is flexible. Feel free to ask any questions No bookings for the South Island or Far North please

Hiring rules

EMERGENCY If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 0800 779 779 they call the AA.
DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
NO OFFROAD / NO Beach Driving / NO Extended Gravel Roads/ NO Smoking inside
CLEANING Return the van in clean condition. Excessive cleaning will incur a charge.
UNSEALED roads must be preapproved in writing in Camplify Messages before the trip begins. Please be familiar with the exclusions, terms and conditions of insurance coverage.
NO SMOKING
COOKING avoid cooking of spicy cuisine where the smell will linger in the van, always open windows/door when cooking
MINIMUM BOOKING In peak periods a 7 day minimum booking is required

Hire Fee: From $125.00 per day
Service fee: $75.00
Delivery fee: $1.00 per km

Cancellations

Flexible

Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

We hired this caravan for our 2 week holiday in March for our family of four. It became our second home and we loved it. The kids loved the bunk beds and us adults really liked having our own space to relax in the evening at the other end of the caravan - was one of the main reasons we chose this caravan. The cooking facilities (oven/hob/microwave) were great and it was wonderful being so self-sufficient - this van has everything you need. Towing was fine despite its size and we were very comfortable. One thing to be aware of is it takes a good couple of days for the fridge to cool, so allow for that. We also thought we could make up the king bed under the bunk beds but its either/or. Not a major though as it didn't take long to set up the other king bed (located at the other end) each night. Thanks for sharing your awesome family caravan Steven!
