Everything inside is brand new, designed to make your journey comfortable, practical, and full of freedom. 🚐 Compact and easy to drive, with automatic transmission, great power, and a rear-view camera – perfect for city streets or long road trips. 💤 At night, relax in a large, comfy double bed, with fresh sheets, blankets, and towels included. There’s also plenty of storage space so you can travel worry-free. 🍳 Feeling hungry? Cook wherever you are! The kitchenette comes with a sink, two gas stove, 3 gas bottles pots, pans, utensils, basic seasonings, and a brand-new, spacious fridge to keep your food and drinks fresh. We’ve also added a camping table, two chairs, and complimentary tea and coffee to make your mornings special. 🔋 Thanks to the second lithium battery and inverter, Tahi is fully self-sufficient, perfect for staying off-grid. A portable toilet and “green sticker” certification mean you’re fully ready for freedom camping across New Zealand. 🎶 On the road, enjoy music, GPS, and Bluetooth through the modern stereo system. 🌿 Whether you’re chasing sunsets by the beach, exploring mountain trails, or wandering through charming small towns, Tahi will be your perfect travel companion. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the van. Hiring rules

  • No smoking in the van.
  • LONG TRIPS Hirers are welcome to take the van up to 200 kilometres a day. This will be averaged out over the duration of hire Example: 5 days hire 5 x 200km Allowance: 1000km for hire permitted in the rate, additional kms will be charged at 40c per km and deducted on completion of the hire.
  • Hirer must be 24 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We loved our time travelling in New Zealand with Tahi! The van was small enough to manage all the roads and parking spaces but spacious to sleep 2 and enjoy meals in the van some evenings. It's well equipped and very comfortable. Communication with the owners before pick-up was seamless. Easy to manage, clean and has everything you need!

    This van is the epitome of luxury! Incredibly spacious and modern, this van provides a level of comfort like no other. Yesi and Zel were so accommodating and we are so grateful for their hospitality. Highly recommend!

    Amazing! Loved everything about this van. I was able to communicate easily with the owners before and during my trip. Tahi is beautiful inside and has everything you need to enjoy this wonderful company. They have went above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful experience. Hi there! Were Yesi & Zel, a couple from Mar del Plata, a beautiful coastal city in Argentina. Road trips have always been our happy place. Over the years weve explored breathtaking corners of Argentina on four wheels, and we fell in love with the freedom of life on the road. Back in 2018, we spent a month travelling through New Zealands North Island in a vanand that adventure stole our hearts. Now, were living in Wellington, and whenever we can, we escape to keep discovering more of this incredible country. We created Tahi because we want to share this passion with others. Whether its chasing sunsets, finding hidden gems, or simply enjoying the comfort of a cozy home-on-wheels, Tahi is here to make your road trip easy, comfy and unforgettable.
