Our van is beautiful, warm and super reliable. She is a pleasure to hang out in and offers a number of luxuries to enhance your trip. She is solar-powered and boasts a remote-controlled RV ventilation system, multiple charging points (x1 standard outlet and x2 USB ports), a large fancy fridge/freezer, great water pressure, blackout insulated curtains and heaps of storage. She even smells like cedar! We love her and we hope you will take care of her as we do.

- 3L Diesel Engine - All wheel drive (but can't be used off-road under the current hire policy, sorry!) - Floor to ceiling height is 1.6m inside - Optional Yakima Bike Rack (swings outwards so the boot can be opened easily) - Optional TV. Please let us know if this is something you would like us to include for your trip. - Previously a disability van in Japan. Imported to NZ and converted to a camper in 2021. Still has her wheelchair accessible step - please just contact us if you need more information on whether this would meet your mobility needs.

Hiring rules

  • No smoking
  • No cooking inside the van
  • No offroad driving / beach driving / extended driving on gravel roads.
  • No pets
  • No festivals
  • Awning must be packed away before bad weather arises.
  • Vehicle must be returned cleaned or you'll risk a cleaning fee.
  • Standard pickup / dropoff times are before 8am or after 5pm on weekdays. Anytime is ok on weekends but this must be arranged at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Any damage must be reported immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
  • Pull over immediately if any engine lights come on. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe and call Camplify on 0800 779 779 they will advise on how to contact roadside assistance. Then call me!
  • Payment of a deposit is required within 48hrs of your booking being approved, otherwise I may cancel it.
  • Fuel return filled with diesel. All hires include a full tank upon departure
  • Kilometre limits 200 kilometres per day are included in the booking price. You will be charged 40c per kilometre for additional distance travelled over the total allowance.
  • Road User Charges are additional to your daily set rate and charged at 9c per km travelled
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
