The van offers space for 2 adults and a child to sleep. It has a comfy double bed and a single bed that can be pulled out from over the cabin (max 50 kg). The bed converts into a dining area with plentiful space. Due to the high roof even we tall Dutchies are able to stand inside. It has a fully-equipped custom built kitchen with a modern two-burner gas stove, electric water pump, sink, a fridge and freezer and has USB ports. There are even 240V ports which work whilst connected to power on a campsite, which would even allow for the complementary heater, toaster and kettle to be used! Howard even has a solar panel on his roof which allows you to camp off grid, especially combined with the included solar shower.

Hiring rules

• Please refrain from smoking inside both due to smell for people using the van next and the fact gas is used😊
• A copy paste of the Standard Camplify rules:
• EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 0800 779 779
• DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
• NO OFFROAD / No Beach Driving / No Extended Gravel Roads/ No Smoking inside
• UNSEALED roads must be preapproved in writing in Camplify Messages before the trip begins. Please be familiar with the exclusions, terms and conditions of the booking.
• LONG TRIPS Hirers are welcome to take the van up to 200 kilometres a day. This will be averaged out over the duration of hire Example: 5 days hire 5 x 200km Allowance: 1000km for hire permitted in the rate, additional kms will be charged at 40c per km and deducted on completion of the hire.
• FUEL Return full of PETROL All hires include a full tank upon departure.
• CLEANING Clean the equipment and Van. Excessive cleaning will incur a charge.

• Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

  Had the best time away in the van, was very easy to drive and make the bed to a table. Would definitely recommend booking this for a trip away. Ruurd was also a great help and great at communicating

  Get van, easy comms, was really thoughtfully kitted out with everything we needed. Appreciated the super easy handover!! Other travellers might like to note the 200km a day limit - on NZ roads that gets you about 2.5 hours. While this is averaged over the whole rental period and you can go over if you pay extra, it is not very far for NZ road trips. This is stated clearly in the information about the van however, so is not a critique just something I should have paid closer attention to :)

  Howard drives excellently! Had everything we needed for our weekend trip and was super comfortable and cosy. Lovely and clean, lots of storage space and fold out table great for breakfast outside the van on sunny mornings! Being able to stand up inside the van makes such a difference too. Amazing communication - hiring process was smooth and easy, thank you so much Jen! 10/10 would recommend taking out Howard as your next camper
