Had the best time away in the van, was very easy to drive and make the bed to a table. Would definitely recommend booking this for a trip away. Ruurd was also a great help and great at communicating

Get van, easy comms, was really thoughtfully kitted out with everything we needed. Appreciated the super easy handover!! Other travellers might like to note the 200km a day limit - on NZ roads that gets you about 2.5 hours. While this is averaged over the whole rental period and you can go over if you pay extra, it is not very far for NZ road trips. This is stated clearly in the information about the van however, so is not a critique just something I should have paid closer attention to :)

Howard drives excellently! Had everything we needed for our weekend trip and was super comfortable and cosy. Lovely and clean, lots of storage space and fold out table great for breakfast outside the van on sunny mornings! Being able to stand up inside the van makes such a difference too. Amazing communication - hiring process was smooth and easy, thank you so much Jen! 10/10 would recommend taking out Howard as your next camper

We recently hired a camper from Ruurd, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. Ruurd was incredibly accommodating, always on hand to answer any questions we had, and made the entire process so smooth. The van itself was perfect for our trip, equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable journey. It was clean, well-maintained, and easy to drive. We couldnt have asked for a better setup or host. Highly recommended!

Had an amazing time driving Howard. The vehicle is well looked after, easy to drive, had all the items you require for a get away, and the owners are friendly and easy to deal with. Would highly recommend hiring this van.
