Van comes with: Linen for 2 single beds or 1 king, towels, pots, plates, cups, cutlery, small inverter for charging laptops only, USB charging ports while driving or stationary in the van, gas heating, plenty of solar on the roof, toaster and fan heater for 240 volt use only (when plugged into power), coffee plunger, hot water bottles and security safe (fits computers)
Hiring rules
- *Minimum 7 day hire – Nelson to Christchurch region
- *Minimum 14 day hire – Entire South Island
- Named drivers only (minimum age 25 yrs)
- For use on sealed roads and up to 10 km gravel. We are open to negotiating a little longer gravel road distance if needed.
- This van is smoke, vape and drug free
- This van is pet free
- Please do not use the sun awning on windy days or leave it unattended
- Maximum 2 people
- Vehicle to be returned cleaned (includes cleaning and emptying the toilet and waste water) otherwise cleaning fee charged
- Campervan is supplied with a full tank of Diesel. Please return with a full tank
- Camper supplied with a full LPG bottle of gas. Please return full
- RUCs are charged via Camplify app post hire checklist and calculated at 0.09c per km additional charge to Daily rate.
- Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations
Strict
- Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

Alison 5.0Escape HQ was a fantastic van. It was spacious enough for 2 people but small enough that parking was never an issue. The van had everything we needed for an amazing 4 week trip around South Island. It coped admirably with the numerous mountain passes and winding roads we had to drive over. Kathy and Trevor were great owners - friendly, welcoming and helpful. We would hire this van again and have recommended it to our family.
